Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama ended their Super Tuesday face-off in a dead heat, guaranteeing a rancorous contest to come after each candidate won close numbers of delegates. Clinton won important victories in California, New York and New Jersey. Obama picked up wins in his home state of Illinois and in Connecticut, where Clinton had a comfortable lead just a few weeks ago. At last count on CNN, Clinton had 632 delegates to Obama's 626 in pledged delegates and 825 to 732 counting superdelegates.

Hillary/Bush dynasty continues.

Yeah! Whoo Hoo!

Happy days are here again!

Billary/CIA...Hitlery/
Busch...AKA The Gambino's, and Corleone's

"If the people were to ever find out what we have done, we would be chased down the streets and lynched."

-- George Bush, cited in the June, 1992 Sarah McClendon Newsletter

The Activities at Mena
MENA is no myth!

"I have put thousands of Americans away for tens of thousands of years for less evidence for conspiracy with less evidence than is available against Ollie North and CIA people. . . . I personally was involved in a deep-cover case that went to the top of the drug world in three countries. The CIA killed it."

Former DEA Agent Michael Levine
CNBC-TV, October 8, 1996

"The connections piled up quickly. Contra planes flew north to the U.S., loaded with cocaine, then returned laden with cash. All under the protective umbrella of the United States Government. My informants were perfectly placed: one worked with the Contra pilots at their base, while another moved easily among the Salvadoran military officials who protected the resupply operation. They fed me the names of Contra pilots. Again and again, those names showed up in the DEA database as documented drug traffickers.

"When I pursued the case, my superiors quietly and firmly advised me to move on to other investigations."

Former DEA Agent Celerino Castillo
Powder Burns, 1992

"The Subcommittee found that the Contra drug links included:

* Involvement in narcotics trafficking by individuals associated with the Contra movement.

* Participation of narcotics traffickers in Contra supply operations through business relationships with Contra organizations.

* Provision of assistance to the Contras by narcotics traffickers, including cash, weapons, planes, pilots, air supply services and other materials, on a voluntary basis by the traffickers.

* Payments to drug traffickers by the US State Department of funds authorized by the Congress for humanitarian assistance to the Contras, in some cases after the traffickers had been indicted by federal law enforcement agencies on drug charges, in others while traffickers were under active investigation by these same agencies."

Senate Committee Report on Drugs,
Law Enforcement and Foreign Policy
chaired by Senator John F. Kerry

"I really take great exception to the fact that 1,000 kilos came in, funded by US taxpayer money."

DEA official Anabelle Grimm, during a 1993 interview on a CBS-TV "60 Minutes" segment entitled "The CIA's Cocaine." The 1991 CIA drug-smuggling event Ms. Grimm described was later found to be much larger. A Florida grand jury and the Wall Street Journal reported it to involve as much as 22 tons.

Almost immediately, it became apparent that Mena enjoyed a special status. Every attempt to investigate met with interference. Investigator Russel Welch of the Arkansas Police was ordered to stay away from drug activity at the Mena Airport. Despite a public statement by then-Governor Bill Clinton that he was doing all he could to investigate allegations of CIA drug running at Mena, citizen's groups charged that funding was cut for any investigations that pointed at Mena, and petitioned the Iran-Contra Special Prosecutor to investigate drug running at Mena. He never did.

Even a Congressman, US Representative Bill Alexander, whoseappeal to Bill Clinton for investigative funding was ignored, charged that he had found interference in the Mena affair from the IRS!

Hillary Clinton: A Bilderberg Presidency
European elite back Democratic frontrunner

In an October 5th interview conducted by Lloyd Grove of Portfolio magazine, Lynn Forester de Rothschild, wife of Sir Evelyn Rothschild, openly proclaimed support for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. Lloyd Grove begins by commenting on Lynn's influence, writing of her first meeting with her future husband Evelyn Rothschild which took place at the 1998 Bilderberg conference in Turnberry, Scotland,

"When 67-year-old British banking scion Sir Evelyn Rothschild first set eyes on 44-year-old Lynn Forester at the 1998 Bilderberg conference--the matchmaker was none other than Henry Kissinger--she was already a woman of major means."

When asked by Grove if Clinton will be "good for business," Rothschild replies,

"First of all, Hillary will be good for America. And so if we care about our country --which all of my fellow capitalists do --we'll be very pleased that she's president."

Writing in the Council on Foreign Relations publication Foreign Affairs, Hillary Clinton outlines her agenda if elected president. Iran is in Clinton's sights, along with regional government, and likely support of the North American Union - and possibly a Pan-American union - with a "policy of vigorous engagement" with Latin America.

Regarding Iran, Clinton echoes the rhetoric coming from President Bush and the Neo-cons,

"Iran must conform to its nonproliferation obligations and must not be permitted to build or acquire nuclear weapons. If Iran does not comply with its own commitments and the will of the international community, all options must remain on the table."

Clinton's "vigorous engagement" stance toward Latin America would make North American integration proponent Robert Pastor and the CFR proud. Regional government, as well as regional currencies have been a long term goal of Bilderberg globalists and the Council on Foreign Relations. Clinton, if elected president would pursue further integration of Africa into the African Union,

"We should target these countries for aid and other forms of support and work with them to strengthen regional institutions such as the African Union. The AU seeks to emulate the European Union by requiring and supporting democracy among its members..."

Hillary Clinton congratulated Walter Cronkite in 1999 for his global governance award, given to him by the World Federalist Association for his support for a system of world government. "For decades you've told us the way it is, and tonight we honor you for fighting for the way it could be," said Clinton.

The thin veil covering the almost indistinguishable difference between the two major parties has all but disappeared. The good Congressman from Texas named Ron Paul is the only candidate that comes with no strings attached leading to globalist puppeteers. Paul's popular yet simple message of freedom is spreading, while the establishment scrambles to scare up support from ever more skeptical Americans for their increasingly un-popular candidates.

Clinton Wins California

Cli-click

BOOM!

Thud.

Sincerely,

Tony Roma

The media sees this process as some kind of horse race. Using their analogy, I believe that Clinton will run a strong, competent race, keeping her pace, guarding the rail. But someone is coming up fast on the outside and appears to have something extra in the tank for the home stretch.
Obama will win, going away.
Ron Paul has everything going for him; except votes. His main appeal is to those who believe both political parties are the identical, a delusion that, fortunately, is not shared by the majority. People are realizing that lumping both parties together is merely an attempt by the right to suppress the vote.

Igmoramus,

Except for your last sentence:

People are realizing that lumping both parties together is merely an attempt by the right to suppress the vote.

You can disregard my last crack at your handle.

Politico is saying Obama has the delegate lead...this is all so confusing!

Anyway, Hillary might not see another win until Pennsylvania which would mean that Obama would have more delegates than Clinton, including her super delagates.

I am going to listen to Obama speak tomorrow morning at Tulane and will be campaigning for him here in New Orleans the rest of the week. I think Louisiana could be really close and may even swing Hillary's way. However, we in Louisiana know what happens when you elect a woman who cries in trying times:

media3.washingtonpost.com

Obama won big Tuesday. He actually will end up winning more delegates than Hillary. www.politico.com He won more States. And He will win the next 6 primaries (maybe next 10)www.realclearpolitics.com It looks like Feb will be a tough month for Hillary.

bringing home the groups that cost us the last two elections.

Cost us??? Who is us?

Women cost us every election because they won't vote and now they come out not for purpose of good government but because a "WOMEN" is running.

Well, sorry but I would rather those women not vote at all, they clearly show why they are not respected in real life.

I'm surprised at how well obama is doing, but Clinton taking Mass, New York and California I think is too big for her not to win it now. Those are the Democratic states...

"Clinton ends a truly Super Tuesday with a California win.

After showing that she can win in red states and blue states, in rural areas and big cities and from East to West and everywhere in between, Hillary Clinton ended a truly super Tuesday with a big California win.

Even though a Reuters poll showed Barack Obama winning California by 13 points, Hillary Clinton won the Golden State.

Senator Obama made an unprecedented effort to win CA -- he campaigned throughout the state and his campaign ended its efforts in the Golden State with a large rally over the weekend. He spent considerably on TV in CA and a 527 organization also did so on his behalf."

www.huffingtonpost.com

"Media Gets It Wrong Again

If I were Barack Obama I would tell my flaks in the news media to shut up in the final days before elections. The chattering crowd's frenzy for this man only raises expectations that he cannot meet.

As a result, what was otherwise not too shabby a night for Obama on Super Tuesday came across like a public relations defeat because so much more had been expected. Still, those who predicted a bigger night for Obama are invested in downplaying what actually happened, and will surely gin him up for the next contests.

Before Super Tuesday, gushing pundits predicted that the Kennedy family endorsements would, at a minimum, deliver Massachusetts. Didn't happen. Feverish news reports of rising momentum for Obama led to hints that he was winning New Jersey. Didn't happen.

And, oh yeah, California's returns were supposed to keep us up all night because the "force of nature" that is Obama had erased Clinton's lead in the state. Oops, it turned out that Hillary Rodham Clinton's lead was so substantial that the networks could call the state for her just after midnight.

The California surprise promoted a bit of mea culpa from former NBC anchor Tom Brokaw, who has actually been a voice of reason as so many of his colleagues have lost their minds for Obama.

"Once again," Brokaw said on MSNBC as Clinton's early California win was announced, "in all of our conventional and collective wisdom, we were wrong."

I WONDER WHY DO PEOPLE VOTE FOR OBAMA. ALL THE GUY DOING IS SAY CHANGE ,CHANGE, CHANGE...HE HAS NO EXPERIENCE RUNNING THE GORVERMENT AT ALL{LOCAL, STATE, FEDRAL}.THE CLINTONS IS DIFFERENT. THEY RAN THE COUNTRY BEFORE AND WE HAD A GOOD TIME..

Clinton won alot of delegates from 4 states that are guaranteed to go Democrat anyway.

CA, NY, MA and NJ primaries mean nothing as these voting populations would pull the lever for Hitler if you put a 'D' after his name. The DNC doesn't need to consider their preference at all when choosing a candidate as their electoral votes are pre-pledged to the party anyway. As a resident of NJ, it pains me to say it but populations who blindly vote for one party without fail don't deserve such consideration. It is the states that are up for grabs that matter as long as the electoral college system is in place.

(Before anyone flips out, this is just my opinion and I'm not saying the DNC ignores those primaries. They are not smart enough to figure out that they don't have to worry about states that are guaranteed and that is why Bush is a two-termer)

"HE HAS NO EXPERIENCE RUNNING THE GORVERMENT AT ALL{LOCAL, STATE, FEDRAL}."

He has more experience as an elected official than Hillary. And to me, that isn't even a selling point.

But I like the caps. If you are going to talk out your ass, you should do it loudly.

For Badophay -

Obama - Wants dialog with enemies. Has said so, even if it's not "populist". We're the muddaflippin US of A. Who are we afraid to talk to? Barack before bombs.

Obama - Not the wife of the guy whose crippling sanctions and annual bombing runs entrenched Sadaam's Baathists and killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, mostly women and children. Not saying the sanctions were right or wrong, but Obama is a new honest broker for a hurting Iraq.

Obama - Willing to take steps toward getting over it with Cuba. A fresh face for bringing a post-Fidel Cuba to the 21st century without it going nuts.

Obama - Supports "decriminalization" of marijuana and states' rights in the area. That's a seven-syllable word that says he knows what the hell he's talking about. I've never toked, really, but think the war on drugs sucks.

Obama - Hasn't thrown gays under the bus time and time again. Bill Clinton... gleefully signing the DOMA in the Rose Garden on September 1996 during the election campaign? Don't think that one's forgotten!

Hillary Clinton - Proud to be chief sponsor for a dumb-as-rocks anti-flag-burning bill. Obama - Constitutional scholar who has fought many First Amendment cases on the side of freedom.

Obama's not an empty suit.

He has more experience as an elected official than Hillary.....

I was thinking last night that when I was a little kid my mom would give me a nickel to scrub the bathroom sink.

I went on to earn money by painting drawers, sweeping the garage, picking up sticks in the yard. I had a lemonade stand a few times, and started cutting grass for neighbors whe I was 9. I had a paper route, and was a busboy at age 14.

Hey! I have 35 years' experience too! Most of it in the private sector, with five years in the military (government) service.

I'm as qualified to be president as Hillary!

" THE CLINTONS IS DIFFERENT. THEY RAN THE COUNTRY BEFORE AND WE HAD A GOOD TIME.."

Yes as said before your talking out of your ass! Please remove the toilet papper before you speak!
The clintons did not run the country! Bill was the president, Hillary was not in any way shape or form part of the policrical process. She was a wife of the president, nothing more!

And as far as expereince, The longer a person is a plotician the better they are at lying too you! This is the reason this country has gone to hell. We keep putting the same lying bastards in office over and over again and look where we are now. More tax's than ever before and still you will vote for the same ole same!

Obama is a fresh face in Washinton! New ideals and less currupt that the rest of the clowns running.

Now if you could see me.... I'm crying.... booo hooo.... Now go vote for me stupid!!!

Obama and Clinton would best heed the results of their Hollywood debate and conduct the rest of the campaign in a civil matter, focusing on the fact that the republicans are on the eve of electing a Manchurian candidate who is not mentally competent to be president.

I am a Democrat, and we are fortunate to have two great candidates fighting for the nomination. Having said that if anyone was watching MSNBC last everning from 8pm thru 11pm (PST) they woulde have gone to sleep thinking that Sen. Clinton had suffered a great defeat.

Chris Matthews (HILLARY HATER), fawned over every Delegate that Sen. Obama won, while explaining away every Delegate that Sen Clintopn recieved. For the past 6 Months MSBNC have been the cheerleader for the Obama campaign, I never taught I would say this considering there history but if any one wants a Fair an Balanced view of this election catch FOX NEWS once in a while!!!

Celisary

I posted these last night...

"MSNBC is like a morgue. All the Obamites look like zombies. The ones on CNN, too. Their normally invisible Obama buttons are actually beginning to show.....

If I had an excuse-making machine..... I could make a fortune selling to them!"

"NY NJ MA

What I find funny switching around channels is that Faux News, with no real dog in the Dem race, projected all those states for Clinton WAY before MicrosoftNBC and CNN finally managed to make themselves do so.

They are SO disappointed!

After all that hard work they did not vetting Obama and hyping him incessantly to make the ratings horse race cash register ring for as long as possible, and now they have to count votes when pontificating on polls is SO much more fun!

Yes, they're BOTH eminently qualified, miles about anything the Nixon-Reagan-Bush party has to offer. And yes, they're both wimpy centrists, but that may be the best progressives will EVER get.

I see the momentum with Barack, but it may be too late. I see Hillary as already the darling of the corporate board rooms, the Murdochs and those who understand that the N-R-B party has irretrievably pissed it away.

Let's hope that they don't destroy each other. Wouldn't having them on the same ticket be great. herm

"Clinton/Obama '08! "16 Years is Better than 8" (TM)"" - Corky

Not gonna happen. Gore and Obama have talked about what that would be like.

You mean Obama would dis his Nation and his Party, not to mention the opportunity to become Pres, all because he might become like the best VP we ever had?

HRC Will be gentle and kind to him, don't worry.

I doubt very seriously that Obama would ever agree to run as VP. Would Hillary Clinton?

Barack Obama is not Jesus:

tpmcafe.talkingpointsmemo.com

From your link, Bill:

I worry, however, that some Obama supporters have become so emotionally invested in him that they would not support Clinton if she eventually prevails.

I think this is true, and I am pretty sure that Hillary will not get many of their votes. Thankfully, like Corky has inferred, she won't need them because of the female and hispanic vote.

She won 57 percent of women and 6o-something percent of Latinos, bringing home the groups that cost us the last two elections.

It's not women or Hispanics that make the difference.

But, since you mention it, in New Mexico, with 38% Hispanic vote - by far the largest percentage of Hispanic voters in any state, Obama may very well win. Right now they're 60 votes apart counting 'provisional' ballots.

In California, Obama closed the former 62-19% gap among Hispanics to a 60-40% split. Another week and he most likely would have won California and New Jersey. He got 40% in Hillary's own state.

Obama did better with INDEPENDENTS - the group that decides presidential elections these days - by 25%, and Republican voters who crossed over by a mile.

He's also the one who just may win a Red state or two.

McCain vs Dem (?) comes down to Independents. Obama wins there by a mile.

HRC Will be gentle and kind to him, don't worry.

And Hillary! will protect you, too

--Corky

"You mean Obama would dis his Nation and his Party, not to mention the opportunity to become Pres, all because he might become like the best VP we ever had?

HRC Will be gentle and kind to him, don't worry."

First of all, Hillary's VP wouldn't even be second fiddle.... he/she would be third after Hillary and Bill. Playing third fiddle to Bill and Hillary didn't do much for Gore's political ambitions. Bill is already way too involved in Hillary's campaign and there is no reason to believe he'd back off after she wins.

Secondly, there's a real chance that he believes some of the stuff he says about Hillary being the same old type of politician that has been messing things up for years. Whether or not you think its true or hypocritical or whatever - he may believe it. So why would he want to work for a person he doesn't believe in when he could keep his job in the senate and still be a leading candidate next time around? It isn't "dissing" the nation to refuse to be part of an administration you don't believe in and who is going to marginalize you anyway. As far as "dissing" his party, I wish more politicians would grow some balls and show some individuality. Licking Bush's boots for eight years has destroyed much of McCain's appeal to anyone who isn't a GOP drone.

I have two words: super delegates

Obama is going to need a lot more than a six delegate lead at the end of the road in order to overcome the number of super delegates already committed to Hillary's side.

AU

Just now saw your post! Where've you been?
Haven't seen you around here for a few days so I was hoping all was okay.

Dick Morris is now on talk radio show and said that maybe a new primary is needed because Edwards' and Obama's names' weren't even on the primary ticket in Michigan like they should have been, and that Hillary did not stay out of campaigning in Florida like she had promised to do.

Hillary vs McCain is likely to occur. Who is the better choice? Two corporate globalists who will flood the country with illegals.

It pains me to say this but I prefer McCain

Time for a third party candidate to emerge --

Before it's too late --

LOU DOBBS FOR PRESIDENT 2008!

"She won 57 percent of women and 6o-something percent of Latinos, bringing home the groups that cost us the last two elections."

If someone is voting in a Demcoratic primary, it is highly unlikely that this person cost you the last election. Yes, I know "independents' can vote in some states but real independents don't vote in party primaries. Primaries basically measure who people who are going to blindly vote for you party anyway would prefer. They in no way measure how a candidate will actually perform in a real election. In many ways, the primary system encourages a party to nominate a party hack rather than someone with broader appeal.

I'm as qualified to be president as Hillary!
