Its global warming and Bushes fault.

There now we can end this thread.

Global warming?
Divine intervention?

I was at the Predators (hockey) game last night. About 1 minute before the end of the third period, they announced that they weren't going to let anyone out of the building due to the weather.

That was frustrating enough, but about 5 minute=s after the game ended, they made another announcement that we were all being evacuated into the service tunnels beneath the arena, where we were stuck for about an hour.

All in all, a pretty crappy evening, though the Preds did win.

I drive a truck over the road and never in my twenty plus years of doing so have I seen a winter with so much fog. I'm no tree hugger but something is definitely going on with the weather.

When's Pat Robertson going to explain why god hates the south?

45 now

45 now

Nah, Zat. That last one wasn't because of the storm. I did it.

WWOD?

What will Obama do?

When Obama is coronated we won't have any evil tornao's, hurricane's or earthquakes, tidal waves or forest fires. Floods will no longer happen and
MS 13 and the Crips will sell on same corners together.

Indeed, we are about to experience change.

No longer will rape occur any where in the country, stabings will be non existant and all cars will run on sunshine even on the cloudiest of days. The shark and the grouper will dwell together in peace dining on oxygen rich water only, no longer in need of flesh for sustenence. Neither men nor women will marry (heaven) and childen of all races will become one and all be entitled to a full set of pearly whites reflecting the perfection of his policies.

OHHHHHHH how grand it is going to be. A world where everyone is the same and we all become one color. No longer will penis, boob or nose envy have a place in our society as we will all be genetically engineered equally. Oh how Grand it is going to be.

No child will be left behind and all will be reading at college level upon enterig kindergarten thanks to the dedicated staff of pre school teachers who love your children equally. Change is at our door step.

No longer will we have need for money, everyone will be happy in their govt. appointed position and their food allotment.

Yes indeed, change is on our door step. China, Russia, India, Pakistan, Iran and Ubangi people alike will love us and now rush to assimalte our culture. Not only will homosexuals perform on the streets of San Fran but also in the streets of Istanbul...... How grand it is going to be.

Trees will flourish in the desert sucking up the evil co2 that is burning up our planet and mars.

Ohhhhh, how I look forward to the change, Oh the change what a marvelous world we're about to enter.

Plasma tv's will be replaced with life size holograms that agree with everything we speak to them and taco bell will win the franchaise wars.

Ohhhhhh, I'm all a flitter for change. Bring us change Obama bring us change oh mighty one.

Let not the ugly be denied sex with the beautiful. Let not the stupid be denied from maning the nuclear reactor. Let not the aged be denied spare parts..... Bring us Change Ohhhhbama, bring us change.

This damn global cooling is disastrous. The new ice age is imminent. Quick, ZAT...inform your "peers."

Tornadoes Kill 44 Across South

"45 now"

We know, it's all Bush's fault and the AGGW swimming pool indicator predicted this tragedy.

Looking on the bright side, there's got to be a few less houses needing to be foreclosed on.

Dont

If you and sawdust want to blame it on Bush, go right ahead.

Looking on the bright side, there's got to be a few less houses needing to be foreclosed on.

There is an upside to everything Kris.

thanks for pointing that out.

"OHHHHHHH how grand it is going to be"

KrisP...you're fun and all...but maybe you should back off on the caffeine juts a little bit.

Oh and this is for the "I never seen" or we never crowd.....

Fox Reporter Asks Student At College Damaged By Tornado If It Was Divine Intervention?
Reported by Donna - February 6, 2008

Today on Fox and Friends they spoke to a student at Union University that got hit by a tornado. A student being interviewed said they had plenty of notice and went into the bathrooms and prayed.. (Jonathan Serrie covered the story} and asked her '"if this was a Divine Intervention that saved lives last night?" And the student said, "Oh definitely, God was in everything."

Jonathan Serrie repeated the divine intervention at the end of the segment but they had another segment later on where he repeated that student(s) were saying this was divine intervention.

I guess the early warning system and getting into the bathrooms for protection didn't really help. Where was the Divine Intervention for the several dozens who were killed?

No college kids were killed. Doocy said twice that it was a miracle.
.
Serrie came on a third time to talk about divine intervention.

"The whole story made me think, where was divine intervention for the several dozens who were killed? And why was the reporter asking about Dvine Intervetion?"

Miracles abound on Fox.

a little town, gassville, near our cabin was leveled last night. from what i understand, there was not a business left standing and one of our neighbors heard that a policeman was also killed.

it's no longer about divine intervention - it's about judgement.

2 chronicles 7:14: "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

how many humble people are left in the u.s.? get used to more of the same.

OMG...

When's Pat Robertson going to explain why god hates the south?

Cause they didn't support guiliani in Florida!

That's alright, people from the south are dumb and deserve to die.

Warming to Cause Harsher Weather, Study Says

By Juliet Eilperin
Washington Post Staff Writer

www.washingtonpost.com

I rememeber when hurricane camile and all the resulting tornadoes came barreling up through alabama and miss, reaking havoc and taking lives along the way. That was even before Al Bore invented the environment.

It's spelled Camille and that was in August of 1969.

"Camille tracked north-northwestward across the Gulf of Mexico and became a Category 5 hurricane on August 16. The hurricane maintained this intensity until it made landfall along the Mississippi coast late on the 17th."

www.nhc.noaa.gov

This was a cold front.

The most intense hurricanes to hit the U.S. Notice the dates of the cat 4's and cat 5's. Most of them appear to be in the late 1880's and early 1900's. That was even BEFORE Zat had a scientific swimming pool for predicting future weather.

50 People died and that is all you can say?

How sad for you.

For his next trick, justgettingitwrong will tell us how FDR started the Mohair subsidy.

Early in the season, is it not?

LIVE_OR_DIE: "Maybe Hussein can sweep in on a magic carpet and save us! Hope, change, and other such buzz-words!"

DONNERBOY: "50 People died and that is all you can say?"

I, too, was shocked, SHOCKED, I tell you, that someone on DR would take a non-political issue like this one and turn it into political fodder. It's a first for sure.

"Let not the stupid be denied from maning the nuclear reactor.

Fucking classic.

"Yeah, the rate of CAT 5's rate hasn't changed."

Gee, I wonder how well the tracking and measurement of storms has changed?????

might it not be that a couple out in the Atlantic just never got measured back then... funny how you ignore the dip down to three... nice sample size you use too...you really can't make any valid conclusion on those numbers.

"funny how you ignore the dip down to three"

I did?
That explains why I posted it doesn't it?
