Maybe they can see the present system doesn't work well. Maybe they don't understand why other countries have better healthcare for more people and spend less per person. Now don't get me wrong people that go to the hospital without insurance get treatment. They don't pay but YOU DO. How? Your premiums are higher than they should be because you are supplementing those that can't or won't pay their costs. Whats worse those people with serious conditions have probably gotten much worse and will require more expenses than would have been required had they gotten preventive treatment in the first place. Don't believe that crap from the right wing that if you have health care for all it will be abused. I don't know of anyone willing to spend three hours or more in the waiting room for a minor ailment among a whole bunch of people who might have whatever.

Take your own advice and start thinking for yourself without making assumptions about people you don't even know. I do not listen to any talk radio these days except for Morning Edition, All Things Considered, Marketplace and Fresh Air. Oh and sometimes Car Talk and PHC. I gave up Rush & Co. about 15 years ago.

No I have no experience with any other health care system but I know our doesn't work well . That being said don't you think we need to try something different because on the trajectory we are in no one will be getting any health care and we will be spending both legs and both arms to get it.
As for your claim that once the government gets involved its all downhill as I said I don't hear all those residents in other countries clamoring for change like we are.
