Another misleading headline from Corky.

Right on time the "Daily Obama Hit Piece"(TM)

It isn't praise at all. He is saying that President Bush nominated people for cabinet positions with mainstream Republican positions instead of people who had extreme right wing positions.

Of course, Hillary, being the establishment politician that she is, will try to spin this into meaning something other than that intended.

Corky on Feb. 18, 2001 at 5:00pm: "I'm hungry"

Logical Conclusion: Corky was/is/will always be in a perpetual and unbiased state of hunger.

'"... I dont think that soon-to-be-Secretary Rumsfeld is in any way out of the mainstream of American political life. And I would argue that the same would be true for the vast majority of the Bush nominees, and I give him credit for that."

Ah yes. The impoderably magnificent JUDGEMENT (as TR says) of the great Prophet himself as it relates to Bush's Reaganite Iran-Contra appointments.

The headline? You guys buttons are so easy to push, lmao!

Funny how Lil' Brit-ney doesn't mind the several negative Clinton threads posted here daily, eh?

Corky, it seems that he was referring to them as more mainstream than the crazy religious right (which Aschcroft belonged to). I don't think Rummy or Big Dick are too religious. You have to remember that W was going after those crazy christian cooks during the election and could have very well packed his cabinet with them.

several negative Clinton threads posted here daily

I don't necessarily mind the negative posts, it is the misleading headlines and the twisting of fact that upsets me. But you could care less as to what upsets me so why even bother.

What a revealing post, Corky. Talk about desperation.

"Funny how Lil' Brit-ney doesn't mind the several negative Clinton threads posted here daily, eh?"

I'll have a problem with them when they have been proven inaccurate...

waiting...

*crickets*

And ya know what Corky enough with the childish names, it makes you seem like a petulant 5 year old calling someone "stinky", it's not as if you are trying to shorten my handle, in fact you are making it longer. How do you ever expect people to respect anything you have to say when you behave like that?

I think it shows that Obama is not out of the far left field like some think. Of course, I am biased.

I really like Obama and his message.

I also remember what it was like in the early days of the Bush Administration.

One would never believe they would turn out to be the pack of liars and thieves that they turned out to be!

One always clings to the hope that this time it will be different and that our leaders would have the best interests of our country in mind (not Haliburton) when they make major decisions like leading the country into war.

Of course, I am also very interested to see what other Skeletons the press can dig up on Obama.

Nothing yet compares to Bushco or even the Clinton's.

-the misleading headlines

That from the author of the thread:

Clinton Pouts, Breaks Campaign Pledge

Where we find out not only did Clinton not break the pledge, but that Obama most certainly did break his campaign pledge by buying cable ads that went into Fl.

-I'll have a problem with them when they have been proven inaccurate...

From someone who more often attacked the messenger instead of addressing the topic raised by articles written in the Chicago and LA newspapers and the Nation magazine, among others.

At least she didn't resort to creating negative threads about Members here when disagreeing with what they post, as do some of the other wackos.

I'm sure there was enough evidence out there for people to know Rummy was an asshole back then. But the extent of his craziness and incompetence was not apparent back then.

I don't see how a Hillary booster would want to compare her support for the Bushies' most destructive policies to Obama's.
