Democratic turnout has far exceeded the Republican showing in the contests so far, an "enthusiasm gap" that could provide an advantage in November. "Turnout and various poll data suggest Democrats are more eager to vote and happier with their choice set than Republicans. I think it reflects an eagerness to get the Bush administration behind them, said Gary C. Jacobson, a political scientist at the University of California-San Diego.

***** Dems Beating GOP on Turnout ******

.....hard to get enthusiastic about a dog's breakfast......

from the article...Republican Party analysts also note that both Ronald Reagan and the senior George Bush were elected after Republican primaries in which turnout was lower than in the Democratic primaries.

Parade...meet rain...

Don't lose any sleep over it. If Hillary get's the nomination, I think you'll see the GOP monster awaken.

I'm afraid I agree with this, thus ensuring the country's contintued fate of living under the same old tired, stale policies of the past.

At least McCain won't embarass us in public, and once he pulls his head out of Bush's ass, I relly don't think he'll be as bad as dems and progressives fear.

You guys could do something about it next Tuesday....

......Hillary won't get the Democratic nomination.....it will be either Obama or Edwards.......

........McCain just means more war...more pandering to millionaires ....more of the same......he allied himself to Bush so closely that a vote for McCain would be a vote for FOUR MORE YEARS OF BUSH......do you think the country would do that ??.......

Well, I guess the election is over now.

.......as good as........

Dream....meet on...

I still do not get it, Ron Paul gets very high web hits and Google searches compared to the others, yet he is still so low in the polls. I just wish he could win, as that would be a positive change.

Google Trend & Web Hits Reports:

Just proves that most people are not married to their computers. Unlike you, they have families, hobbies and friends

Or you.

Ten Months.

A lot could happen either way.

Don't lose any sleep over it. If Hillary get's the nomination, I think you'll see the GOP monster awaken.

That's a fact Jack!!!

Millions like me will leave the democrats if Hillary is chosen and the fact that the party doesn't understand this explains why the party is so messed up and backwards.

Dave, that's because libertarians only exist on the Internet, not in real life. The only polls he does well in are online polls spammed by his supporters, computer nerds.

If Hillary wins the nomination say hello to 4 more years of rethuglican rule. Why doesn't our democratic leadership realize that she doesn't represent the majority of Americans?

Why doesn't our democratic leadership realize that she doesn't represent the majority of Americans?

Because the democratic leadership is the same as the republican leadership. Do you think the republican leadership represents the majority of Americans?

At least on issues important to you?

no reason to panic over this.

how did you react when you learned about santa claus? did you hate your parents for 20 years for lying?

I guess you need a hero Moneywar.

Why doesn't our democratic leadership realize that she doesn't represent the majority of Americans?

Both parties work together to further their mutual interests. Power politics has no interest in representing the best interests of ordinary Americans.
