McCain looks a lot more spry than he did back in December at that YouTube debate in Florida. Winning a couple states is good for the compleixion.

I know you'll be asking for it so here's the link to the debate.

Thanks, I found it tonight. The link hit msnbc.com as the debate started. I appreciate it though cc.

okay.

Ugh. Romney's one smarmy dude. General Hillary Clinton?

Plus, thanks for the thread and link rcade.

Huckabee, in his fair tax answer, just referred to "the underground economy -- drug dealers, prostitutes, pimps, gamblers -- non-Republicans ..."

LOL. That non-evolved holy roller is funny as hell sometimes.

Hehe, McCain gulped when he saw Paul's question was coming to him. As candidate for President he did NOT answer the question but said (in essence) his advisers would handle that stuff.

Wow, it's amazing to watch people in a debate who aren't wrong on every single issue.

Rudy

errr, I don't know 911 why I'm dropping 911 in the polls 911 I guess people 911 think I'm a one-issue 911 loser with nothing else 911 to offer the 911 country oh, wait 911 my cell phone is 911 going off 911 must be my wife 911 calling me on 911 the stage of 911 here in 911 the debate. Hellooooo 911 honey, I'll be 911 home 911 late for 911 dinner.

of course Romeny has raised more $$$$$. He's the golden boy for the globalist multinational corporations and they have donated MILLIONS to make sure Romney gets in and continues "business as usual" to give the corporations the same total free reign that helped destroy our economy under Bush.

BUSH = CLINTON = ROMNEY = BUSH = CLINTON = ROMNEY = BUSH = CLINTON = ROMNEY

Romney just said he wants to go "head to head" with Hillary!! hahahaha Hillary might cry if he hits her too hard.

FF CalifChris! I think you've just nailed what Rudolph the Rednosed Mayor JulieAnnie is all about.

Yeah, Paul, have the young people put their money in the stock market so when they are 65 and ready to retired but the market took a bloodbath a year before they were ready to retire like it has this year they'll end up on the curb. waaaay to go, stupid.

There is enough money for social security if the damn politicians quit raiding those funds.

Ron Paul just committed political suicide touching social security. Social security is NOT just for retiremnet. What about a guy in his 40's who ends up disabled? What will help him if social security is put only into private savings accounts.

Adios Ron Paul -- your SS plan is a joke.

It's the same thing Bush wanted to do. That should tell you all you need to know.

Gee cc you simply ignore what Bernake testified to about the truth about our social security program. Head in sand won't solve the true problem we face.

Ron Paul just committed political suicide touching social security.

He always says that stuff, regardless of how it plays. That's how his Ron Paul Revolution attracted such a fervent following, and also how it isn't becoming a credible threat to win.

Did anyone else here somebody whisper "raise taxes" right before Romney answered a question? Weird.

McCain whipsered 'raise taxes.'

Ugh. Romney's one smarmy dude. General Hillary Clinton?"

Yeah, but his hair alone could meet a good portion of our oil needs.

There's only one person (besides foil hat guy) that resembles a conservative on this stage tonight. Romney reminds me of Kerry every tme I look at him though - maybe it's just his accent or haircut - he will probably be the nominee though and I'm not opposed to that.

Chuck Norris secretly has sex with all the women on earth once a month - we know it as 'the period'.

Excuse me--but why do we need a tamper proof ID card for all the people when only 20 million are illegal?

Why not cut off the benefits--they got here by themselves they can certainly go back to their country.

Why don't they call the SS office and ASK if the SS# the employee gave the employer was CORRECT?

OMG--what a concept!!--They could have a voice mail ID check without an OPERATOR.

The system will KNOW when there is a bogus SS# input --

SAVE a trillion dollars--where's my trademark for the idea??

Murphy

So, I don't get any more food stamps but I'll get money soon? Where's the headline on DR? Have the candidates commented on it yet?

Great contribution O'Crap'O'Meter!

Gee, why can't we have the pleasure of watching Hill-arious slinging mud....what is the matter with this bunch!

Huckabee just gave a great answer on belief and respect - still don't care for the guy.

I do kid when I call Paul (Foil Hat guy). I really do like him I just feel he's out of touch with much of the Libertarian party folks IMHO.

I used to think Russert was fairly good, but his questioning basically sucks, imho.

Ron Paul sure is a clown. He said that Republicans stopped the Vietnam war which was started by Democrats.

LOL Bill O

That's just what I was thinking about Romney's hair!

I hope the Democrats will learn a thing or two about being civil during a debate.

God, I'm in such a quandry this year. Don't like Hillary, don't really want to vote Republican.

What's new? Another year where it's voting for the least stinky I guess if Obama or Edwards don't get the DEM nod.

"Ronald Reagan Dippity Doo" for Romney

The reason for the sucky questions is because he asks them from a Liberal POV.

They did ask about SS--that is a good Repub issue.

Rudy just doesn't have it.

Huckabee got the Fred voters by default.

It's between McCain and Romney.

Paul had a great closing. Love it when he talks about the Constitution and Liberty. He sucks when he says we are bankrupt and doesn't back it up.

Yes--HILL-BILL--why not ask Obama about running against both people.

HRC--she won't sneeze without asking BIll what to do. He will run the WH again.

Run Hill Run. Repubs will have such a BJ--err--fun!! And then she will lose...

Murphy

He said that Republicans stopped the Vietnam war which was started by Democrats.

No, he said Republicans were supposed to stop the war (implying that they failed to keep that vow).

I hope Florida doesn't buy the empty-headed, poll-tested BS that Romney is selling. That guy's the biggest fake in the race.

"Another year where it's voting for the least stinky I guess if Obama or Edwards don't get the DEM nod."

Yep, no question about it. Unfortunately, if Obama or Edwards don't win South Carolina, Hillary is the nominee.

MURPHY

From what I've read the Republicans have been planning on running against her for at least 4 years. She may win the nomination, but she won't get elected.

My Republican friends like Obama, but they can't stand Hillary. Heck, most of my Democratic friends don't like her either.

If the Dems were smart they'd have a brokered convention and pick who they think can win.

Romney gives me the heebee jeebees

What a plastic phony! Another of the 'born on third base and thinks he hit a triple' crowd.

" he said Republicans were supposed to stop the war"

Perhaps I misheard it. He definitely said the Democrats started it, when in fact it was a bipartisan war that had its roots in the Eisenhower administration.

RCADE

Are you old enough to remember Richard Nixon's 'Secret Plan' to end the war he ran on in 1972?

If the Dems were smart....

Yeah, we know.

"That guy's the biggest fake in the race."

Yes, but you certainly can't call him a blow-dried pretty boy.

Is Corky going to attend that convention and do the Hill-Shill (it's the latest craze on the DR for him).

McCain looks a lot more spry than he did back in December at that YouTube debate in Florida. Winning a couple states is good for the compleixion.

McCain, has a good chance of winning the GOP nomination, but whether he can be elected president is another matter. Yes, he could attract independents and Democrats, but the issue os his age will plague him I am afraid. Chuck Norris has already brought it up and today on TV people were making comparisons to Bob Dole. Granted, Bob Dole wasn't a great candidate regardless of his age, but agism did play a part in his defeat, I do remember people saying they were hesistant to vote for him because of that and even Republicans who voted for him were concerned about the issue.

This issue of agism is likely to become more of an issue if McCain starts racking up delegates. I am surprised that Romeny, who is accused of dirty tactics, hasn't brought up the issue.

FF BILL O !!

The question this year is how many 3rd party candidates will there be after the DNC/RNC nominations? Guess the DNC hasn't been that convincing (It should've been sooo easy... hand in jerking motion with this hatred for Bush) I would like to thank Nancy Pelosi, "Sleepy" Bill Clinton, Barrack Hussein Obama, and John "the Southern Lenin" Edwards.

I just wish there were a Real conservative on the stage - one that would make Chris Mathews turn red with rage. If Rudy says he's conservative one more time I'm going to vomit in my mouth.

Unfortunately, if Obama or Edwards don't win South Carolina, Hillary is the nominee.

I think Obama's a lock to win South Carolina. His bigger problem is winning over the Super Tuesday states without large African-American populations, because the Clintons bringing up race all the time has helped spark white flight away from Obama. It's incredibly disheartening.

Are you old enough to remember Richard Nixon's 'Secret Plan' to end the war he ran on in 1972?

My first glimmerings of political awareness were the MX missile debate in 1983, when I was 16. So, no.

I do remember my grandmother saving the "Nixon Resigns" copy of the Dallas Times-Herald as a keepsake. :-).

Bob Dole - now there was a true conservative. Liddy (sic) has been a real disappointment for NC...

The election is fairly simple. If Hill-arious gets the Dem nod the Dems lose the Presidency. If Obama gets the Dem nod, the Dems WIN the Presidency. IMHO. The Repubs will nominate either Romney or McCain. My bet (if I was a betting man) would be McCain but it's a coin toss.

RCADE

Yep. That's why I'm so pissed at Hill and Bill. They have no idea how many Democrats they're alienating - the same ones they hope will turn out in the fall. It's going to be a huge problem for them I suspect.

I hope America asks themselves, "Do we really want to refight the fights of the 90's, and are The Clintons going to be able to win in the fall. He negatives are already sky high. This bullcrap they've been pulling is adding to those negatives from people just like me who used to think rather highly of Bill and the job he did.

BR--you are correct that the Vietnam started with Eisenhower--but it was only for training the South to fight the North--again--wrong plan--look where it got us--10 years, and 60k who gave the ultimate sacrifice and the ones who came back were called baby killers. All because of the liberals.

The Dems escalated the VW--and Nixon ended it--but the Dems were supposed to keep the funding for our ally--but they cut the funding and lost the war. There was 2.5 million slaughtered and the Dems have a lot of guilt ever since.

Ergo--the Dems will never cut the funding--even if they had the numbers to do the same.

Murphy

Regarding Obama, yes, ironically enough, if he wins SC, there is a danger Hillary could be helped in the race issue. Also, as we have seem from Nevada, Hispanics don't like Blacks too much.

RCADE

That was his whole platform in his 1972 reelection campaign.

"I have a secret plan to end the war'. He never told anyone about it AFTER he won reelection either

You missed a lot rcade....my first political memory (and it still resides consciously in my head) is hearing the horses clomping down the streets of DC pulling the casket of JFK.

David Halberstam's Pulitzer Prize winning book, "The Best and The Brightest" is the best chronicle of our involvement in Vietnam from Eisenhower through Ford.

When the leadup to Iraq started it sent shivers up and down my spine. I'd heard all these tactics as the Vietnam War escalated.

Hawks itchy to fight after the draw in Korea. Kennedy duped. Good read if you're interested in history.

Robert McNamara-POS

RIDE

I remember that all too well. What a sad day for America. We've never really recovered. Vietnam, Bobby and MLK shot. It all went downhill from there. That vibrant hope died.

Are you a Democrat, Republican or Redneck? Here is a little test that will help you decide

You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, an Islamic terrorist with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, praises Allah, raises the knife, and charges at
you.

You are carrying a Glock cal 40, and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family.

What do you do?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Democrat's Answer
Well, that's not enough information to answer the question!
Does the man look poor! Or oppressed?
Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack?
Could we run away?
What does my wife think? What about the kids?
Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand?
What does the law say about this situation?
Does the Glock have appropriate safety built into it?
Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message does this send to society and to my children?
Is it possible he'd be happy with just killing me?
Does he definitely want to kill me, or would he be content just to wound me?
If I were to grab his knees and hold on , could my family get away while he was stabbing me?
Should I call 9-1-1 ?
Why is this street so deserted?
We need to raise taxes, have a paint and weed day and make this a happier, healthier street that would discourage such behavior.
This is all so confusing!
I need to discuss with some friends over a latte and try to come to a consensus.
You missed a lot rcade....my first political memory (and it still resides consciously in my head) is hearing the horses clomping down the streets of DC pulling the casket of JFK.
My mom, one of seven in a Catholic family, attended the parade in Dallas as a 16-year-old in 1963. She saw Kennedy go by, then by the time they were back to the car heard the first reports of a shooting.
"The Dems escalated the VW--and Nixon ended it--but the Dems were supposed to keep the funding for our ally--but they cut the funding and lost the war. There was 2.5 million slaughtered and the Dems have a lot of guilt ever since."
What a load of crap. Nixon expanded the war to Cambodia and Laos creating a great tragedy for those countries. He didn't end anything. The Dems didn't cut funding until the war was obviously lost.
I was sitting in a very small student union room at school when General Westmoreland was escorted into the room to speak with a few of us after he had given a campus speech. A girl I knew ended up diving toward him as he was sitting. She was grasping with her hands trying to get them wrapped around his throat. Very trying times they were.......... A good friend of mine got caught in the tear gas at Ohio University (one of two campuses that the National Guard was dispatched to along with KENT STATE).
I remember when Nixon resigned--
I was at my boyfriends house--His Dad walked by the TV and Nixon was playing that "I will resign effective..."
My boyfriends Dad made this comment--"Asshole"--What a crook".
Murphy
A dark cloud decended over America on November 22, 1963, and it's never left. That's why I like Obama so much. Say whay you will about 'words', but 'words' have been the thing that inspired us to reach for the moon, for a new generation to go out into the world and shine the light of America's goodness to the world, to end racial and gender discrimination.
They didn't work too badly for Ghandi either did they?
You have to first be inspired before you find a path to follow to better things.
Bill,
Aren't those who blame the Dems for losing the Vietnam War ill informed?
We threw millions of tons of bombs and a trillion dollars at that place. My buddy, a fighter pilot, told me about seeing convoys of NVA he wasn't allowed to fire on. People like Rumsfield types trying to run the war from a desk and overruling people on the ground don't get the job done.
Much as we're propping up a do-nothing Iraqi government who we're spending precious blood an money to offer an opportunity to make progress, so we propped up Thieu and others before him who didn't get anything done either - year after year.
Billo--Sorry to burst your koolaid thermos--but Johnson and to some extent JFK--built that war against the NV to end Communism. Do you remember the Gulf of Tonkin? Was that Nixon's lie or Johnson's?? Hmmmm....
The outcome of the incident was the passage by Congress of the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution, which granted President Lyndon Johnson the authority to assist any Southeast Asian country whose government was considered to be jeopardized by "communist aggression". The resolution served as Johnson's legal justification for escalating American involvement in the Vietnam Conflict, which lasted until 1975.
Nixon did order more bombings--yeah--and then he was running on the "Secret Plan".
And oh yeah-it's so much better to cut off the funding for our ally when they just cut off the phucking funding. Live with it. It was the Dems.
Murphy
MURPHY
Check out the book I mentioned above by David Halberstam, "The Best and The Brightest".
Kennedy sent a planeload of 'the best and the brightest' to give him an accurate assessment of our chances. All the unbiased advisors were replaced by hawks and arms dealers. He found out about it shortly before he was assassinated. There was an Executive Order pulling out our small force from Vietnam the day he was shot and killed.
Executive Order on his desk.
Yes, it's soo inspiring to hear how "A dark cloud decended over America on November 22, 1963, and it's never left". I mean no disrespect, honestly, I don't - but your generation idolized what? Philandering, Good Looks, and words? Soo much has been accomplished since that dark day. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 (after that horrible day) was passed - this opened the door for Women to vote, own businesses, etc. We actually made it to the moon.... They were just words and JFK was just a man - oh yeah, he had a GREAT speechwriter - Ted Sorenson I believe was/is his name.
Open up your eyes - the good ole days are here and now to some and they are sick of hearing you old crows tell us how bad it is and how good it used to be.
I know about the Gulf of Tonkin, Murphy. But thanks, anyway.
I'm sure you would have liked to see the war extended indefinitely.
www.dailypaul.com
Here are the times for the how long each candidate had to speak during the first segment of tonight's debate:
McCain: 8:27, answering six questions
Romney: 8:26, answering five questions
Giuliani: 5:14, answering four questions
Huckabee: 4:37, answering three questions
Paul: 3:00, answering three questions
I did not watch the debate, but I am guessing it was not better for the other segments. The MSNBC is telling us what candidate to vote for, surprise, surprise. This is whay I don't bother with debates anymore. Tomorrow I'll just watch the youtube portions of RP answers and that's it. What a waste of time it would be to watch a half hour segment and only get 3 minutes of RP.
2FAST
If you didn't live thorugh those times I can understand how you have no idea what we lost.
I hope Florida doesn't buy the empty-headed, poll-tested BS that Romney is selling. That guy's the biggest fake in the race.
Posted by rcade at 2008-01-24 10:45 PM |
On -Romney--
We can give the Mormons this--They know which way the wind is blowing--When America decided that Polygamy wasn't the way to go--the Mormons changed their way and banned it. They had similar changes in policy ruled against killing pioneers and believing that Blacks were evil. Pretty much whenever the populace decided that Mormons are wrong and a sinful crazy cult--their divine leader receives a message straight from God that makes everything OK.
This practice continues to this day--check out Romney--he was pro-choice when he was running for MA governor, but was divinely inspired to become pro-life when he was running for the Repub nomination for president.
This was paraphased from Stephen Colbert--and I chuckled in the plane when I read it..."I Am America"...
Murphy
jack and Bobby Kennedy put their asses on the line to end poverty, segregation, and were responsible for a whole list of things that benefitted people like you who are too young to remember.
Labor laws, voting rights, ah...you have no clue. America was headed to great heights. You could just feel it in the air. We were all incredibly inspired.
JFK's assassination, RFK and MLK, Vietnam, Watergate - they all accumulated to the point where we're not disillusioned about our government. Where we doubt the next generation will do better than the one before it - as had been the case for 2 centuries.
Like I said, you have no idea what we lost.....
Where we ARE disillusioned .....
"I did not watch the debate, but I am guessing it was not better for the other segments"
It didn't get any better, Member. And I agree with you, Paul should have received much more time, especially considering his 2nd place finish in Nevada.
-My mom, one of seven in a Catholic family, attended the parade in Dallas as a 16-year-old in 1963. She saw Kennedy go by, then by the time they were back to the car heard the first reports of a shooting.
Rogers
I was 11, at home in Irving from school that day playing "army" with my little brother. The TV was one and we were hiding behind furniture and shooting our imaginary bolt-action rifles at each other, you know, slapping back the bolt each time.
The news was on showing Kennedy arriving at the airport and leaving for Dallas. A neighbor kid's friend of mine had taught me a chant from his parent's political friends, "Nixon, Nixon,! He's our man! Let's put Kennedy in the garbage can!"
So naturally I aimed at Kennedy, drew back the bolt, sighted down my barrel and pulled the trigger. Then I slapped back the bolt and shot him a couple of more times, then started shooting at my little brother again and ducking away.
Later that day, when I saw on the news what had happened..... I was convinced that it was my fault, more-so when they produced the rifle.
I really kinda liked Jack Ruby.
Billo--Paul had his say--He's just going to get his 10% or so from the Repubs--no matter what he says..
There is no doubt he has ideas that should be adopted--some are sooo extreme, he is in the parking lot and outside the stadium.
Murphy
"one day right there in Alabama, little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers." - Look around AA - we're living in the times that so many of the heroes you mentioned dreamed about. Dark Times? NO!
I cherish the times we live in and thank God Almighty for them. Is everything perfect? Absolutely not! But don't let the struggle of old prevent you from enjoying the blessings available today. We inspire no young by telling them how bad it is or how good it once was.
I can believe an Irving resident shot Kennedy, Corky. Those folks are nothing but trouble. :-).
"Billo--Paul had his say--He's just going to get his 10% or so from the Repubs--no matter what he says.."
You're arithmetic is very bad, Murphy. The numbers seek for themselves.
"McCain: 8:27, answering six questions
Romney: 8:26, answering five questions
Giuliani: 5:14, answering four questions
Huckabee: 4:37, answering three questions
Paul: 3:00, answering three questions"
There's no justification for that kind of disparity. Paul may be strange, but so are the other 4.
2FAST
I hardly sit around and pine for the good old days.
But, where we could have been as a nation had all that tragedy not happened....
2FAST
Down here in the south you still don't see little black kids holding hands with little white kids. They don't live in the same neighborhoods either. Sure, things are somewhat better, but we still judge people by how they look for the most part don't we?
Blacks make 63 cents on the dollar compared to whites,.
Women make 67 cents an hour compared to men.
People without a high school education could support a family on one income.
College was affordable
I could go on.....
It's ok. When I was your age I heard my parents talk about how things used to be an roll my eyes. I just wish you could hve felt the wonder most of America felt for the future. It was contagious.
Tonight David Letterman said Mitt Romney looks like an actor who plays the president in a bad Canadian movie. LOL
AA - I live in the South and have lived in the US for over 20 years now - I'm almost 40. I have nephews and nieces in North Carolina and a great nephew of mixed races (black and white) in the south. I've seen the KKK in my front yard - yet here and now my daughter plays with little asian kids, little black kids, little indian kids, little white kids as equals and no parent scoops them up and away because of the color of their skin.
I came from a very very poor family, every opportunity that I was told was unattainable has been achieved. I could go on...
I hate to turn your words around on you but I wish you could feel the wonder and hope that most of the kids of America still have for the future - It is truly contagious. I sat through 3 hours of speeches on Sunday - my little hick town in NC held a contest for kids from 3rd grade - 12th speaking about the Civil Rights Act of 1964 - it was truly inspiring because most of them Black, white, and Asian had thought it no big deal as they have always enjoyed the benefit of the Act.
That's great.
I live in a larger city in the south. Sadly, neighborhoods are largely segregated. I suppose there are neighborhoods where blacks and whites live side by side, but they aren't playing cards every Friday night.
Guess it's all where you live, but in most cities and towns in the south there are two distinct neighborhoods. I've travelled a LOT of places down here.
I grew up in the suburbs of Detroit where it was and still is lily white, and lived in L.A., where there are distinct neighborhoods for whites, blacks, and Hispanics.
I'm glad your neighborhood is getting along well. We get along well all over the country, but we're not mingling like we should. Surely you can't disagree with that. We have a long way to go. When you were born, during Bobby Kennedy's campaign when Martin Luther King was still alive, we were on the cusp of making this a truly integrated society. Their deaths did a lot of damage to that progress.
Luckily, I have friends from all races and walks of life. But, I'm the exception in America and not the norm. We all tend to hang with our own kind.
Kids are kids. They don't see the differences as readily as we do. But, when they grow up is the true test. I hope they carry on and continue to hang with each other.
RON PAUL AT THE MSNBC FLORIDA DEBATE 01-24-08 FULL
This is all you need to see. The rest is just noise and hot air.
Thanks for the excellent post and link Member. I'd like to suggest you post that on the Nooner today. I probably won't be around at that time today. Give everyone the chance to see it. Thanks.
McCain is media hyped. In the states he won, he got alot of independent votes. In Florida it's a closed primary, McCain will have a hard time carrying the core of the GOP. He is also by far the least conservative of the GOPers. He might do well against HRC but repubs have alot of problems with the ol' Mavrick.
Adios Ron Paul -- your SS plan is a joke.
It's the same thing Bush wanted to do. That should tell you all you need to know.
Thanks CC for a kind word re social security...
Republicans hate a Democratic program that has helped countless millions retire with at least a little dignity.
Excuse me that should have been Republican politicians.... there are Republicans that do not retire with big socks full of money.
Yomelib,
"Republicans hate a Democratic program that has helped countless millions retire with at least a little dignity."
You're a dumb ass.
God, I'm in such a quandry this year. Don't like Hillary, don't really want to vote Republican.
Well here's an idea for you - vote for the one who shares your VIEWS ON THE ISSUES.
Why is that concept so elusive for so many people? They vote against their interests in order to vote for someone they "like". sigh
Sound like student council to me.
MIDIMAN
I'm in my 4th decade of voting. Done just fine without your opinion, thank you. I've also worked for many a presidential campaign as a volunteer. I've never seen tactics like these used against another Democrat, nor have I seen a former president act in such a ridiculous way.
I like Obama's ideas, tone, optimism, and the way he's run his campaign. IMO he's the best candidate to put up in the fall - and the polls say I'm right. Obama beats McCain in 3 of 4 this week. Hillary 2. Nothing will energize the GOP base like the name Hillary on the ballot. Hillary will only prolong the bickering in D.C.
In the end people vote for who they like, as George W Bush has proven. Well, they got their 'wanna have a beer with him' president. More people liked him than Kerry in 2004.
Adios Ron Paul -- your SS plan is a joke.
Should be "Adios America - the SS plan is a joke. We can't afford it, especially with all of the other spending. Ron Paul has stated repeatedly that he wants to take care of those dependent on it, but let younger people opt out. Why do some people feel like they need to force others to plan for their retirement. I am perfectly capable of doing that on my own. I would gladly sacrifice everything I have paid in so far to get out..
People who are against privatizing SS have never seen what a 401K looks like after shoot say even 10, 15 or 20 years of working. You will be amazed at what you will have and it's all yours and your families.
give me
give me
give me
give me
and the giving is all done by.........
YOU AND ME.......taxes..............
but why is there ever anything like this on msnbc.......needs a network where more people can watch it....
of course then again....when you have 2 debates a week is it?
Thats right and it also good to hear people talk about something besides give this away....give that away..
