The next Democratic presidential nominating contest will take place in South Carolina on Saturday, but Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has already turned her full attention to places such as this: delegate-rich pockets of states that will vote in a tidal wave of primaries two weeks from now.

She may well end up looking beyond the entire south, let alone South Carolina, and I don't know if she can afford to do that. This thing could come down to the Super Delegates who will probably base their allegiances on who wind the Repub election. If it is Rudy then they go Hillary; if it is Romney, they go Hillary; If it is Huckabee, they go Hillary; but, if it is McCain then I think they go Obama.

Just an opinion.

Hillary is going to lose South Carolina and "subtly" explain it by the black vote going to Obama. As before, she will say she didn't expect to win. After all, Bill now calls Obama "the Establishment" candidate.

Clintonian illusions of grandeur - time to stop them. Where are the true Democrats who don't believe their party is owned by these two, both liars, out for revenge.

There aren't enough wetbacks in South Carolina. She's pinning her hopes on Hispanics. She's here in California chasing farmworkers. Bill's the one dealing with Obama. It must suck having to run against a two headed opponent. Imagine having to run against a two term former president. Obama doesn't stand a chance.

I was with a bunch of friends last night, half of them Republicans. All of us like Obama and against dynasties in our Presidency. We are all in agreement that if it's McCain vs Hillary we'll be voting for McCain.

The Clinton's think they own the election. Well, maybe they'll win the primary due to dirty tactics aimed at a fellow Democrat (emphasis on 'they'll'), but I think they're in for a rude awakening the morning after the general election. None of us care to see the same old fights of the 90's repeated.

Look for Bill Clinton's approval rating to plummet in the coming weeks. My how the mighty have fallen.

"Look for Bill Clinton's approval rating to plummet in the coming weeks."

But I'm sure his daddy George HW Bush is still very proud of him!

AU - I read yesterday that someone has called this primary a "battle between restoration and inspiration". I think that's a good analogy. The Clinton's will do and say anything to restore their dynasty, while Obama is trying to inspire a new kind of attitude in politics.

Hay look over there. It's North Carolina.

..........is that what you mean?
