In Stephenville, Texas, several dozen people -- including a pilot, county constable and business owners -- claim to have seen a large silent object with bright lights flying low and fast. Some reported seeing fighter jets chasing it. "People wonder what in the world it is because this is the Bible Belt, and everyone is afraid it's the end of times," said Steve Allen, a pilot. AP video on the sightings.

Was it piloted by aliens?
Where they illegal?

Naww, this is just a Tejas sized gas cloud resulting from the noxious emissions from BushLoverGoo.

It has not been determined that this object is a UFO or not, so calling it a UFO is as appropriate as calling it a UO. Call it what you like. the question is---WTF do you think it is. Watch the video, dummy.

Sincerely,

Buffalo Banned

"You hear about big bass or big buck in the area, but this is a different deal," Sorrells said.

Typical Stephenville. Very cowboy and understated.

Damn. Didn't close my italic.

I would be much more likely to put some credence in reports like this than the youtube videos that BBob posts.

Interesting article.

"People wonder what in the world it is because this is the Bible Belt, and everyone is afraid it's the end of times..."

And the search by ETs for intelligent life continues unfulfilled.

And the search by ETs for intelligent life continues unfulfilled.

Hey, Texas is a step up from anal probing.

The dairy capitol of Texas? That's what the aliens came to see?
Why is every alien starship captain Clark Griswold?

Seriously, they've got the entire universe at their fingertips, and they're dropping in on the Largest Ball of Twine....

And as usual, nobody took any pics, what with all the 10s of thousands of cameras out there, that can clearly demonstrate that this was indeed some teens aliens cruising in their hot-rod saucer, scaring the crap out of the indigs for shits and grins.

Aha!

Proof that building that fence is not going to keep pot deliveries from making it across the border!

'"People wonder what in the world it is because this is the Bible Belt, and everyone is afraid it's the end of times," said Steve Allen, a pilot.'

They think Jeebus travels in a pimped out saucer.

I wonder the same thing: in this day of digital everything and cellphone cameras, why hasn't someone photographed or filmed one of these things clearly?

I did see an interesting show about a UFO sighting in the Highland IL area. A CGI expert helped recreate the UFO sighting by interviewing local cops from the 5 towns involved. He made land surveys and sketches of the UFO from eyewitness accounts. The result was a very cool video rendering of the UFO in action relative to the local landscape.

Your just an ugly goon. Why bother posting if you can't state what's really on your mind.. your internet wife who you like to "slap around".

He's not even here.

"Interesting article" - nice, typical, worthless "input".

So, they still chase UFO's with jets? Whatever. Do they shoot 'em down with bullets, too? Please, if anyone wants to abduct the Religious Right, BE MY GUEST. Probe 'em End Over End O' Times good!

Finally, a relevant question: why there? Do they enjoy dairy in their diet? Looking for cow parts? - not that I believe the slaughtered animals are the behavior of space aliens. From what I consistently read UFO's are attracted to nuclear power and often don't want military weaponizing it, so shut down silos, destroy labs - but that's more likely to be a competitor governments activities. It would appear that space alien UFO interactions with our military may have been soured long before the 80's. So why do they keep coming back? Especially if we have decohesion weapons. If our asshat military do make a kill could a resulting ship explosion take out a city? Or irradiate a state? Or losen unstoppable contagions from noplace close enough to stop it's spread? Like China?

I'm going with "underground missiles got their attention". The jets were strictly for effect.

Theres no such thing as ufos, it was swamp gas, glowing from the refracted light of venus, that was reflecting off the International space station that was flying overhead.

FREE BBOB!!!

Wow just another sighting. Multiple, credible people saw it. I don't know why everyone is screaming end of times. The Bible's books of Daniel, Ezekiel and Revelation have documented sighting.

Google the mile long cylinder. There are thousands of sightings. I love it how the Government is first to cover it up every single time.

I know (knew) several people that have seen them over the years. Everyone always calls them a cook or nut. It is human nature to deny what you don't understand or goes against your religious convictions.

One will never truly believe until they see one themselves.

BULLSHIT - it's the nature of IDIOTS to deny what they don't understand.

Regarding the unknown, imo it's more within the nature of humanity to thirst for knowledge and expression.

Some people like explosions, the rest of us would rather construct a means to contain it.

Very interesting. And with so many witnesses you wouldn't think it was a hoax either.

Some reported seeing fighter jets chasing it.

When Jayzuzz comes, we're gonna shoot his ass down.

Apparently. But again, why jets, and why Stephenville?

What is their proximity to underground missiles?

Maybe military were transporting radiological materials amid the public again?

CNN International shown a snippit! No comments from the hosts.. strange. They also confirm the military states they had no aircraft in the area at the time of the sighting. And the jets were just UFO's or holograms? Maybe the Commander In Chief is too?

Redlight- Tome the more interesting aspect is that the first thing these folks think of is the END of Times.

Won't it be more likely that this is the Beginning of Times?
If we got visited by creatures from another world wouldn't it be more like the Age of Enlightenment or Awakening when we as a species finally realize we are not alone and there is a huge Universe to explore and to find our place in?

But, no because it is the "Bible Belt" the Religion of Jebus leads "everyone tends to immediately believe and to fear that ..It MUST be the End of Times...

Why the incessant DEATH wish for Game Over?

so sad...what a DEAD END religion.

I do believe they are questioning human kind and where we fit in, in the whole scheme of things.

True, when first contact is made, it will be a new beginning. I do mean first contact on a global scale.

It is kind of hard to hide a mile long cylinder.

My uncle saw one in central Indiana back in the late 70's on his farm. Hovering over a transformer station. He always got tears in his eyes when he talked about it. One of the most interesting thing is he never told his own children. I found that out 30 years later by accident. Like this sighting that one was in all the papers. Many good old Christian people saw it and never told their own families.

Once again, this is just ANOTHER sighting and another denial by the government.

It is interesting to hear about fighter planes chasing it. LOL! Like what are they going to do if they catch it. Like an Ant to an Elephant.

LOL! The government finally found something they can't control or tax or even stop!

"People wonder what in the world it is because this is the Bible Belt, and everyone is afraid it's the end of times ... "

Why in the world do they think this? I don't think the Bible mentions alien invasions as part of the end of the world. As far as the other comments are concerned, to quote Capt Kirk, "Why does God need a spaceship?"

From article: About 200 UFO sightings are reported each month, mostly in California, Colorado and Texas, according to the Mutual UFO Network ...

It seems aliens enjoy surfing, skiing, and good steak.

bluffalo is behind this, isn't he?

Agent J: Did you ever flashy-thing me?
Agent K: No.

Don't be so sure. They have been taking actions that indicate these craft are accidental sightings, and rarely last long enough for television crews or political arrangements. If it ever is, I would first assume it's government propaganda - and scrutinize it to hell and back. 'V' is an awesome miniseries, (well, the first season, verily!) but I can see how first global contact of that nature could go wrong, and wronger and wrongest even without Martha Stewart's 'To Serve Man Turnovers' angle. C2C recently had a guest who rightly suggested that a bright, but non-threatening object in the sky defying science will be a more likely way to start. She goes on regarding vague-but-pointed recollections of her encounters with Space Aliens who sound a bit confounding. Their emotional intelligence is inhibited by a vast spirituality that doesn't recognize how MEGACHURCHES WOULD BE WILLING CONVERSION CENTERS. In that regard the government would definitely fear alien influence.

Of course someone like me wouldn't have much of a problem with witnessing landing, I can even remember some of the Japanese tea ceremony from Freshman highschool, and sharing ideas on authority, architecture and favorite right-wing probing techniques - oh, and a batch of my faggoty attentions! (Whatever happened to a recipe thread? Inappropriate or just more crap to admin? I know some of you righties enjoy good grub..) What are their official positions when they decide to visit this planet - are they independent agents, scientific consortiums, government agents or rogue factors? A shared legacy since when? Is Mars recoverable? Can we cohabitate or at least put a SkyMall on Luna? What is the solar traffic? How best to stabilize planetary affairs.. Interdependence, ethics, medicine, language, technology (obviously), biology of every form, victory gardening, astronomy, music, sexuality, recreation, relationships and family. Pets - I'm extremely curious what the word is. Maybe that's just too personal, even for a time of enlightenment.

Btw - it appears that the number one question people like to ask Space Aliens is "Where are you from?" I don't believe many people are prepared to answer that question, but at least the Pagan, Christians, Muslim and Jews have some of the celestial symbology memorized.

I highly recommend
Celestia - it's totally free, very fast and tries to be accurate. If you need help I'm available.

Oh, don't get your shorts in a wad, dude. I mean that it's important to appreciate both our ability to know the mechanics and means of existence, and putting our imagination into a communicable or physical form. Explosions and containers isn't just a metaphor, but two sides of the same coin.

That said, I don't enjoy waste. But, don't read a slight into that either - my dad loves fire, explosions and is a walking-talking bearded erection for the Fourth of July celebrations. Every year he would get permits and put on a show for our collected families. For me it's not "bigger is better", unless it's a George Lucas production (minus dialogue), but not so for all in the family.

Exactly Redlight!

If I encountered a "UFO" many, many questions would come to my mind...

but NOT...

IS this the End of Times?

It never occurs to me, honestly. The only "end times" crap that I witness are the chemtrails. Not only do they match the Hopi prophecy, but they are super-duper secret without any official explanations, or even unofficial recognition.

It appears that the only ones interested in destroying humanity are fundamentalists and fascists within our own governments and military.

I'm inclined to also accept that telepathy terrifies these idiots - they won't ever permit something they cannot fully control, thus no enlightened beings for humanity if they can kill them first.

Plus, when we do start asking some serious questions, the answers will undoubtedly be difficult to accept. The military probably don't want their projects exposed.

"One of the most famous cases was the 1947 crash on a ranch near Roswell, N.M. Although the government said it was a top-secret weather balloon, an Army officer who helped recover the debris came forward 30 years later claiming a cover-up, asserting that an alien spacecraft had crashed. Reports later surfaced that a base nurse told someone that autopsies were performed on aliens from the wreckage."

Hmm.. from what I've read on this topic they started a conflict with peaceful, benevolent, space-faring people, who are in possession of far, far, far superior technology. And for this, humanity is not permitted to leave the planet.

Why do the illuminati try so hard to convince children and naive about UFOs & ETs? (1)
Nothing illustrates this as well as the Roswell record, which the illuminati media has now played for... sixty years, using the suggestion mind control technique.
60 years later, FOX celebrates the Roswell "crash" and alien, as Illuminati Joke. As propagated by the "Lunatic Fringe" sites set up by the CIA:
David Sereda will be on Fox News Channel, the Fox and Friends News show tomorrow, July 4th at 9:00am EST revealing Major Roswell Disclosure information. (2)

Reactions of the typical idiot (or a CIA psy-op playing that role) after the show (from previous link):
I was flipping through the channels this morning and caught the tail end of an interview with David Sereda who was touting his latest documentary "From Here To Andromeda".
I must admit that he came off quite credible and sincere. I also found it interesting that the FOX commentators did not treat him like a "tin-foiled-hat-wearing" nut job. He purports to have some credible information in the new documentary from Boyd Bushman directly related to the Roswell incident.
Bottom line, as stated by numerous prior threads, there does seem to be more and more stories about UFO's and such.

60 years later, Roswell celebrated as Illuminati Joke (3), in this case as parody of their satanic ritual murder of JFK, with "another" deathbed confession.
"Military official admits on his deathbed that spaceship was real"
David Sereda disclosed major Roswell information, both the death bed confession of Walter Haut and his Legal Affidavit that was recently revealed.
And he also revealed the Testimony of Boyd Bushman from Lockheed Martin (Senior Scientist) Boyd states that we actually shot down the craft in Roswell, that we had a black ops plane plane with Tesla technology beam weapon that was used.

2 things....

Air force thunderbirds knowing people like to take pictures present themselves specifically to do so.

A perfectly clear picture, may still not make any sense to you.

Like taking a clear picture of 3 balls of light in the sky, that appear to move as though they are the end points of a craft, that is simply not there. Plenty of clear pictures of crap like that, and none the less its definately not the clarity we would expect. And therein lies the problem.

We would expect a mile long cylinder craft to actually look like a craft. Just like they might expect toilet paper to be lined with sharp steel barbs.

I will confess something to you, I have seen something I can't explain as anything other than "intelligent tool use". It's repeated in a number of videos and images captured by others from all over the world, but they are all similar in that it's rarely clear or indicative of technology I recognize. That doesn't make it any less real, just difficult to share with someone who doesn't have a clue, "hundreds of blurry pics" later.

Both actually, although I can't seem to find the youtube video for the latter. :p

The huge black triangles reported are the same as seen over Belgium and countless other spots over the years.

They are likely hybrid flying craft (aeordyne plus aerostat) made by our own government.

"No one can can get a clear image...."

Gordon Cooper said the government was so interested in the film he made of one landing in front of him in California they removed it from him entirely.

Gordon Cooper said the government was so interested in the film he made of one landing in front of him in California they removed it from him entirely.

A friend of mine, after a very long time in my acquaintance, finally revealed that she and her young daughter were driving down a country road in Texas when a black triangle suddenly "bounced" them (descended abruptly to within a very few feet above their car) with an enormous roar of sound.

Stealth fighters did exist at the time. So I guess what she experienced could have been a pilot making a practical joke. On the other hand, that explanation seems almost as strange as aliens.

A hybrid of what? Skydiving/radar equipment? What allows it to maneuver? Hover? Take off at faster-than-sight speeds?

It could be described as a jet propelled blimp. That's why it hovers, and why it is silent when it does so.

""People wonder what in the world it is because this is the Bible Belt, and everyone is afraid it's the end of times."

Can anyone tell me how far Stephenville is from Crawford?

Obviously, my Bible is a little rusty...

What do UFOs have to do with the "End of Times"?

Seriously. Or is this just a case of anything out of the ordinary for any reason being seen as a sign of the Apocalypse by people who REALLY want it to happen?

Jet propelled blimp? I would say about more like a tube with rounded ends. 3 funny looking multi triangular heat vents in the front or something that emits very low frequency IR after it comes down from orbit in about 1 second in a ball of bright ultraviolet light.

It may go in the ocean upon entry and come out in a cloud of steam. It slowly silently comes out of the cloud while the "vents" are glowing deep red. It seems as if a dull hum or steam can be heard. Kids can see this happen better. It is so faint at first an adult can not see it. It slowly comes into view. Yes it does look like a blimp at first. Then one can gage it with their thumb and realize it is not a plane, not a blimp and the realization that this thing is not ours. Too big and too long.

About this time the bottom seems to ripple a deep red and it simply goes behind a curtain.

No it is not the end of the world. You are too busy running as fast as you can home terrified. You shake the entire night and are terrified. Your son also instinctively runs.

Being on the East Coast of Florida south of Kennedy Space Center and watching this thing glide at about 50 knots above the dark ocean on its way towards Patrick Air Force Base.

If this happened it should have set off every 911 alarm! Wow probably a blimp or weather balloon.

"Or is this just a case of anything out of the ordinary for any reason being seen as a sign of the Apocalypse by people who REALLY want it to happen?"

I've noticed that people who aren't coping too well with the modern world tend to get pretty happy when faced with the prospect of end times.

Wusses, ever' damn one of 'em.

Thanks for posting, very brave, and believable.

I want to know what the balloon thingies are. People can't see them. They just pass over cars, often going against the wind - and our gorge is strong. When spotted they turn UV very quickly - looks like a dull white basketball slipping into violet-hued water, hover around in pairs or more. Sometimes they just remain stationary for hours, then float away. A few appear slightly larger and red (filled with cow blood or slurpee?) - and always in the company of smaller whites. They appear to be manufactured from those twisting "space worms". What are they? Government tools? Boeings privacy invasion? Space Alien? British? Chinese? Mexican? Mooninite? Insect mind in a manufactured body? Ancient Earth hack0rz toolkit? Why do the black helicopters chase them? Why do they make crop circles? To appreciate mathematics better? A means of worship or veneration? Who would use them for crop circles? Why only on "lay lines"? What would they want with civilians? Something amid us? Perhaps they are studying the impact of the chemtrails since they appear seriously interested in them?

I'm concerned that there are multiple groups at work - against each other.

Some have great affinity for our military installations, and that also gives me pause.

If they can totally control any person, anywhere, why bother appearing in the flesh? Unless these interactions are generated for our benefit, or rather, to control the actions of someone else.. less influenced.

Does anyone know if you can still see live feed off the space shuttle? I believe that is shut off now.

As to believable. If the above was seen, then many, many people in Florida have seen the same thing. Google Youtube. So it is not uncommon.

It is actually funny how many sightings there are and no one believes them! LOL!

Dude, I've never been compared to MIB. My guests are always respected.

If someone attempted that form of manipulation I would undoubtedly comply, if only for their sake. How sad to have a bunch of ineffectual secret agents popping out, ruining special occasions with threats and poopery. Kind of like Super Troopers, minus the homoerotic parts and all humor.

It's too bad you didn't learn the whole story. Many UFO witnesses have been intimidated or eliminated.

FREE BBOB !!!

My son is a student at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, majoring in Agri-Science. He did not see the UFO, but was wondering why the sky over the town was filled with so many jets. He called home today to let us know how much his tuition would be for the new semester when his dad asked him about the UFO that was reported. Our son doesn't have a TV, nor does he listen to the news on the radio, so he didn't know about the sighting. He did tell us that our news would explain all the noisy jets flying over the town. So, why are all the jets flying over Stephenville? Is it the Air Force? the Secret Service? What are they looking for?
And, yes, Crawford, TX is not that far away. Less than a 2 hour drive south. When Dubya comes to town, every road between Connally (former airbase) and Crawford is SHUTDOWN tight.

BBOB was right!

That guy in the video -- the deer hunter -- who was only 300 feet below it seemed quite credible.

Well, it is unidentified, it flew, and it was an object = UFO.

Is it common for the government to scramble fighter planes to investigate reports of something that they are 90% sure was just 2 planes? Seems a little odd to me.

Or these jets were simply escorts.

"That doesn't make it any less real, just difficult to share with someone who doesn't have a clue, "hundreds of blurry pics" later."

Posted by redlightrobot

I be clueless?

Hmmmmm...

I've seen "stuff" too in the depths of the Southwest deserts and from the heights of the Rockies. Less real or more real is irrelevant if what you are looking at is just a fuzzy blob, or the pics you took are also fuzzy blobs. We exist in just a tiny sliver of the physical universe and are mostly clueless ourselves as to what sort of phenomena the universe can produce. So we see lights and blobs and movement and energy and in our limited intelligence and understanding, it gets attributed to ETs, but few are willing to make the leap that these events may also be the result of natural events spawning these phenomena.

Pop on over to Rense.com and check out the Mystery Space Machines series of pics this guy has been taking from the ground of what are purported to be spacecraft of some type in orbit. But these too are blurry and undefined, and highly subject to interpretation. Fascinating all the same.

So please, don't tell me I don't have a clue. I prefer to rely on tangible, verifiable evidence, not hearsay, innuendo, tabloid headlines, drug induced visions, over-active imaginations, group hysteria, semi-sci-fi documentaries, conspiracy theory, lonely hearts, or publicity seekers.

When the saucer lands on the White House lawn and Klaatu and his robo-buddy Gort step out and tell the human species that they're screwing up Big Time and we'd better shape up like real quick or be exterminated, all carried on live feed to the news networks, then I'll truly believe. Until then though, it's all story telling and speculation.

"I prefer to rely on tangible, verifiable evidence...."

Then you don't rely on very much, or perhaps even nothing if you really want to look at these things as hard-headed as you state.

"When a saucer lands on the White House lawn...."

That would be interesting. In the meantime, what do I do about my friend in the Air Force who relates everyone on his base was ordered to shut their blinds and not even look in the direction of what was landing there at a certain hour of the day?

I'd prefer not to believe aliens are here, because if they are, they definitely aren't ET.

"what do I do about my friend in the Air Force who relates everyone on his base was ordered to shut their blinds and not even look in the direction of what was landing there at a certain hour of the day?"

And this of course implies ETs???? Couldn't possibly be anything else?

And why is your friend babbling about security measures to you, especially of this nature? Do nothing about your friend and tell your friend to tell you nothing more. Rule Number 1 for National Security: Keep Your Big Mouth Shut.

Our company has captured night video surveillance of something very interesting. I don't know what to do with the footage as company policy forbids releasing it to the public. Upper management has reviewed the footage and it is agreed it contains the unknown. It is good quality video though. What it shows can be described as "Playful" If that makes any sense. If this technology is ours why aren't we using it to win wars?

I prefer to rely on verible and tangifiable evidence.

"what do I do about my friend in the Air Force who relates everyone on his base was ordered to shut their blinds and not even look in the direction of what was landing there at a certain hour of the day?"

That could simply mean an experimental aircraft is landing or perhaps a high ranking politician is visiting.

Alot of people try to portray our government as having contact with aliens. But think about this: Do you think beings who are so advanced that they are able to travel light years in a single lifetime would really believe that our politicians are the only people they could trust?

""People wonder what in the world it is because this is the Bible Belt, and everyone is afraid it's the end of times," said Steve Allen"

BWAAAHAAHAAHAAHAAHAAHAA!

That is too funny. Keep believing your fairy tales!

BE AFRAID....BE VERY AFRAID!

Alot of people try to portray our government as having contact with aliens. But think about this: Do you think beings who are so advanced that they are able to travel light years in a single lifetime would really believe that our politicians are the only people they could trust?

Trust with what exactly? I mean I could trust you personally to build and launch a satellite, not that you'd ever be able to do it...

So perhaps if your intention as an advanced race was to establisha base of operations with protection from the local government, talking to John Doe may not be the best person to have accomplish that for you.

Knighthawk - Good point. They would deal with our government for the same reason any foreign leader deals with our government: Self interest.

Although beings with that type of technology
might find taking the whole planet over easier than dealing with the assholes in charge.

If this technology is ours why aren't we using it to win wars?

Because a secret weapon is no longer secret if your actually using it on the field.

And then given that were talking alien tech, and our only real war is against a bunch of cave dwellers, given all our other assets alien tech may just be overkill.

Lastly.. we may very well be using it.

Maybe what they sighted was the ever elusive Republican candidate....oops, there is none....BAAAH!

Although beings with that type of technology
might find taking the whole planet over easier than dealing with the assholes in charge.

There is a guy out there named Jim Sparks, whos gotten some noteriety for writing about his alleged numerous alien abductions.

One of his notions is that aliens abduct people for the purpose of training. And that after the fact people forget any such thing ever happened. But at some point in the future some event will occur that will awaken this stored away knowledge in people, and will allow them to know the alien race(s).

And that project was undertaken due to inaction by the "assholes in charge".

According to Jim Sparks anyway.

Sort of a "7 Habits of Highly Effective Alien-Contact People" seminar.

If this technology is ours why aren't we using it to win wars?

The U.S. military is secretly using banned napalm gas and other outlawed weapons against civilians in the Iraqi city of Fallujah, eyewitnesses reported

Residents in Fallujah reported that innocent civilians have been killed by napalm attacks, a poisonous cocktail of polystyrene and jet fuel which makes the human body melt.

Since the U.S. offensive started in Fallujah earlier this month, there have been reports of "melted" bodies which proves that the napalm gas had been used.

'Unusual Weapons' used in Fallujah

BAGHDAD, Nov 26 (IPS) - The U.S. military has used poison gas and other non-conventional weapons against civilians in Fallujah, eyewitnesses report.

"Poisonous gases have been used in Fallujah," 35-year-old trader from Fallujah Abu Hammad told IPS. "They used everything -- tanks, artillery, infantry, poison gas. Fallujah has been bombed to the ground."

Hammad is from the Julan district of Fallujah where some of the heaviest fighting occurred. Other residents of that area report the use of illegal weapons.

"They used these weird bombs that put up smoke like a mushroom cloud," Abu Sabah, another Fallujah refugee from the Julan area told IPS. "Then small pieces fall from the air with long tails of smoke behind them."

He said pieces of these bombs exploded into large fires that burnt the skin even when water was thrown on the burns. Phosphorous weapons as well as napalm are known to cause such effects. "People suffered so much from these," he said.

Macabre accounts of killing of civilians are emerging through the cordon U.S. forces are still maintaining around Fallujah.

"Doctors in Fallujah are reporting to me that there are patients in the hospital there who were forced out by the Americans," said Mehdi Abdulla, a 33-year-old ambulance driver at a hospital in Baghdad. "Some doctors there told me they had a major operation going, but the soldiers took the doctors away and left the patient to die."

Kassem Mohammed Ahmed who escaped from Fallujah a little over a week ago told IPS he witnessed many atrocities committed by U.S. soldiers in the city.

"I watched them roll over wounded people in the street with tanks," he said. "This happened so many times."

Abdul Razaq Ismail who escaped from Fallujah two weeks back said soldiers had used tanks to pull bodies to the soccer stadium to be buried. "I saw dead bodies on the ground and nobody could bury them because of the American snipers," he said. "The Americans were dropping some of the bodies into the Euphrates near Fallujah."

Abu Hammad said he saw people attempt to swim across the Euphrates to escape the siege. "The Americans shot them with rifles from the shore," he said. "Even if some of them were holding a white flag or white clothes over their heads to show they are not fighters, they were all shot.."

Hammad said he had seen elderly women carrying white flags shot by U.S. soldiers. "Even the wounded people were killed. The Americans made announcements for people to come to one mosque if they wanted to leave Fallujah, and even the people who went there carrying white flags were killed."

Another Fallujah resident Khalil (40) told IPS he saw civilians shot as they held up makeshift white flags. "They shot women and old men in the streets," he said. "Then they shot anyone who tried to get their bodies...Fallujah is suffering too much, it is almost gone now."

Refugees had moved to another kind of misery now, he said. "It's a disaster living here at this camp," Khalil said. "We are living like dogs and the kids do not have enough clothes."

Spokesman for the Iraqi Red Crescent in Baghdad Abdel Hamid Salim told IPS that none of their relief teams had been allowed into Fallujah, and that the military had said it would be at least two more weeks before any refugees would be allowed back into the city.

"There is still heavy fighting in Fallujah," said Salim. "And the Americans won't let us in so we can help people."

In many camps around Fallujah and throughout Baghdad, refugees are living without enough food, clothing and shelter. Relief groups estimate there are at least 15,000 refugee families in temporary shelters outside Fallujah.

this statement was good:

"Several dozen people -- including a pilot, county constable and business owners -- insist they have seen a large silent object with bright lights flying low and fast. Some reported seeing fighter jets chasing it."

an attempt to add credibility to the sightings, as though there couldn't be any goat-roping goobers among the county constable and busines owners. I give the pilot the benefit of the doubt...

What people are seeing is just exotic military technology.

Solve this UFO mystery in Texas!

Watch the video you dummies!

REDLIGHT

That was a funny photo you put up!

What was the final outcome on this UFO? (It remains an unidentifed flying object until they identify it.) The government thought it important enough to scramble F-18's check it out. What was the conclusion?

So that's where Buffalo Bobs family lives...

Hmmm... Isn't Texas awfully close to all those US military bases where they test out new planes? That would seem to explain the F-18's, too. I mean they don't test them over L.A. or New York because if they fall out of the sky they might hit something valuable.
