Shhh... Dan Brown is working on it to get the 'bogus' credit.

Big deal.

I'm guessin' she's still just as dead....

MONA LISA

Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa, men have named you
You're so like the lady with the mystic smile
Is it only because you're lonely they have blamed you?
For that Mona Lisa strangeness in your smile?

Do you smile to tempt a lover, Mona Lisa?
Or is this your way to hide a broken heart?
Many dreams have been brought to your doorstep
They just lie there and they die there
Are you warm, are you real, Mona Lisa?
Or just a cold and lonely lovely work of art?"

Sta bene!

Mystery Solved....now i can sleep at night once again

"Mystery Solved....now i can sleep at night once again"

Not until someone tells me who turns off the light in my refrigerator.

I've always viewed this painting as proof that people have been overhyping stuff for centuries.

Why all this interest in who she was? After 500 years, it's a little late for anyone to be thinking of her as a MILF.

I'd hit it.

When she was alive, of course.

Actually the Mona Lisa was Leonardo's attempt to depict the feminine side of Jesus!

"Lisa Gherardini, the wife of a wealthy Florentine merchant,"

This is news?
I watched this on Discovery channel 5 years ago.

Mona Lisa's Lost Her Smile Lyrics
David Allan Coe

Mona Lisa's lost her smile and the painter's hands are trembling now
And if she's out there running wild it's just because I taught her how
The masterpiece that we had planned is laying shattered on the ground
Mona Lisa's lost her smile and the painter's hands are trembling now

Tiny eyes that used to burn for me now they no longer look my way
And the love that used to be love I just lost in yesterday
And if she seems cold to the touch well there used to burn a flame
I gave too little took too much till I erased the painter's name

Mona Lisa's lost her smile...

Mona Lisa's lost her smile...

"I'd hit it."

No surprise...you'd probably "hit" a phone booth if a fat lady farted in it.

what woudl be cool is to find the decendant of Mona Lisa genetically and re-paint the decendant daughter..

this is stuff that people just leave alone. the mystery is a large part of the alure.......

"Dan Brown is working on it to get the 'bogus' credit"

Dude, he wrote A WORK OF FICTION. Get over it.

Right - a work of fiction that sucked, big time.
