The threatening radio transmission heard at the end of a video showing harassing maneuvers by Iranian patrol boats in the Strait of Hormuz may have come from a locally famous heckler known among ship drivers as the "Filipino Monkey."

Congressman Ron Paul warns of a contrived incident to provoke war with Iran, a "Gulf of Tonkin" type incident, January 11, 2006.

Does anyone really believe any of this horseshit?

Fret not, we'll get our next war...whether under this administration or when the warmongering torch is passed.

Filipino Monkey or American chimp?
Whoever, it still allowed the FOX anf the GOPpers to get some Fighty Righty bedwetters all fired up and Bush to go flog the dead horse of an arabic coalition (plus the Poles, of course) to go get Iran before next January.
I'm sure AIPAC will also use the monkey-shines to get a few billion more money from Congress.

OH SNAP!

Northguy just fired his GZ flare gun!

Please allow 5 minutes for your signal to be triangulated.

Iraq: I'm erecting bacon barriers as we speak.

I can see why people would attribute such behavior to the current administration. And there is a alot about Paul I like. But this is just lunacy.

Considering that nothing happened and that the Pentagon came right out and said that the situation seems questionable, I don't see how anyone could reasonably assume this is part of some kind of conspiracy.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

We had a guy that kept getting on our net and saying "I'mmmm fuckinggggggg craaaaaazy, I'mmmm fuckinggggggg craaaaaazy, I'mmmm fuckinggggggg craaaaaazy". He'd say it every 5 minutes or so throughout the night.
Our Battalion Commander got on the net and demanded to know who was doing it. The guy got back on the net and said "i'm not that fucking crazy".

We used to constantly heckle people over the radio. The Beavis and Butthead laugh "he hee he" was a popular one.

Did Bush call you personally and order you to do this because he wanted to bomb Iran? Seems like the only logical explanation........

Sully,
Of course we were ordered by Bush to do it. Don't get me wrong, I wondered aloud "Why in the fuck is the Governor of Texas ordering me around!", but I was only an E-4 at the time so i did it.

101 - Don't be so naive. Bush was Governor of Texas like Martin Sheen is the president. He's been Cheney's 2nd in command for 20 years now.

Was Iranian Boat Threat a Prank?
Those CIA boys are such pranksters!

"For 25 years there's been this mythical guy out there who, hour after hour, shouts obscenities and threats," he said. "He could be tied up pierside somewhere or he could be on the bridge of a merchant ship."

And the Monkey has stamina.

"He used to go all night long. The guy is crazy," he said.

Tadowe is Iranian?

WELCOME BACK 101, you pud.

WELCOME BACK 101?
Was Chairpoodle gone? I hadn't noticed.

The real issue here is did the US Military fall for this prank?

Don't believe a damn thing you hear at a Pentagon briefing! Total propaganda.

I'll bet you thought that was a clever response. Some things never change.

Alex,
Thanks. I'm not staying for long, but I'm not leaving for good either.
