I was wondering if Huckleberry would free up some staff time to peruse fredisdead's voting record-how many votes he missed, how many spending bills he supported, how many pork barrels made it down to Tennessee.

Saw a Huckleberry commercial where he says the Founders were obviously anti-choice because they said every person, including zygotes, had equal rights under the law. he didn't explain whether blacks were animal vegetable or mineral, cause they evidently weren't people and if a black woman was pregnant, was her fetus a person or what? Maybe Jayzuzz will tell him tonight, or is that Mitt that gets the directions from God.

Well, this wasn't the plan.

As pretty much everyone has noticed, the Republican race hasn't exactly followed any of the scripts laid out for it. Mitt Romney has been hacked apart like the Black Knight in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail." John McCain's fortunes -- which had been bouncing up and down like a printout of Dick Cheney's EKG -- have suddenly spiked northward after his victory in New Hampshire. Fred Thompson ran a brilliant "testing the waters" campaign from his front porch, but when he tried to walk on the water, he sank like a basset hound trying to swim. Pushing the poor beast under the waves was Mike Huckabee, whose down-home folksiness makes Thompson look like David Niven.

Huckabee's surprise surge in Iowa has made him this season's pitchfork populist, albeit a much nicer one -- sort of a Disneyland Pat Buchanan. Then there's Ron Paul. He started out as the designated wack job, then became so successful that the Des Moines Register had to cast Alan Keyes in the role of hopeless firebrand wingnut for a brief campaign cameo. And it's a sign of how poorly Rudy Giuliani -- once the indisputable front-runner -- has done that I'm now mentioning him only after Paul.

How about that....a whole BUNCH of losers fighting...over which one of them is the biggest loser perhaps?

Fuck-a-bee(I'll bet that stinger hurts!)-and Tennessee Tuxedo dukin' it out-huh?
May they both lose BIG!

Senator McTainted-and "Mittens" Romney and the whole crowd-are asswipes who don't deserve a shot.

They've sat by and allowed bushleague to get away with everything he's wanted for seven years.
Now that they're running for the job-they're ALL trying to cast themselves as part of the "Coalition of the non-bushttard Societies"(TM)-when-in reality-they're all virtual CLONES of the lazy fuck.

I say let Chuckleberry Clown and Fred the Dog lace up the gloves and "Duke" it out. May the biggest loser win.

I suppose that this might confuse you since your mindset seems antagonistic to the South, but the push to count blacks as less than a whole person came from the Northern states, which wanted to reduce Southern influence based on numbers of inhabitants in the state.

The Southerners wanted blacks counted as whole persons. Not the Yankees.

Boy, I bet you wish that you had a pipeline to God. Isn't it a Democrat though, Mr. Edwards, who channeled dead babies when he worked as an attorney.

Have Mr. Huckabee or Mr. Romney declared that they speak to the dead, that they speak to God, that they heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons? Isn't it "your" idea to attribute such powers to them? You deserve creative credit.
