Oprah appeals to people as an example of what someone from humble background can achieve in America when all the cards were stacked against her. Almost every show she does is on improving lives.

If you presume she's telling people how to vote, then include Chuck Norris and anyone else endorsing a candidate. People aren't inclinded to vote for someone because of an endorsement.

That's cool that you have a couple running that you like.

In the end, this election will be like no other in my lifetime (almost 52). Never has all of America been so hungry for change on both sides of the aisle. The renewal of hope.

Oprah does have a history of being duped by authors.

a.a. - i'll be 52 this coming year also. it's time for a change without the mudslinging - even my ultra-conservative 16 year old son will say, "mom, even if a liberal is elected, surely you and your friends can find SOMETHING to agree on with them, right?"
