I'm fine with summarily executing any illegal immigrants who are discovered in this country.

I'm also fine with paying $5/lb for strawberries and doing my own laundry. I fully endorse paying farm and construction and 'service industry' workers a decent living wage. It's not that Americans won't do those jobs. They just won't do them for $15 a week. If they HAVE TO pay living wages, there will be no demand for illegals to keep their crops 'cheap'.

I'm also fine with high tariffs for goods imported from other countries, like China. So what if your jeans cost $50? A lot of factory equipment that has been disappearing overseas for the last 30 years would make an abrupt about-face, bringing American jobs home with it.

Actually, we could probably invent a process that turned human cadavers more or less directly into biodiesel, too. It works on any fat, so just mash 'em and cook it out, trans-esterify it with some lye, skim and filter, and you have fuel and then the rest can be made into fertiliser.

Then the whole nature of our wars could change. We just go into countries and harvest the people directly. No need to kill them to drill for their resources. Just slaughter them en-masse and collect the bodies, instead.

Rasta, the reality is that it usually people just like Sniper who end up shooting loved ones in the mistaken belief they shooting a 'bad guy'. Happened not to long ago near where I live. A mechanic shot his nephew dead when the nephew was trying to get into the garage to get his car without bothering the uncle.

To be fair, in the UK they have made it illegal to kill intruders, and every so often the NRA puts out another story about some 'bloke' who blasted an intruder and is going to jail for it. Of course, in the UK they're all drunk all the time, so the chances that someone breaking into your home is a drunken idiot who has made a mistake and is too stupid-drunk to figure out why his key doesn't work is statistically higher than in most of the U.S.

I'm all for your right to kill anybody who tries to get into your house without permission! Kill OTHER people who are trying to get into other people's homes, too!

It's all about population control.

Every jail and prison cell should have a serviceable noose in it, with illustrated instructions on how to use it. We could effectively control our prison population that way. Use the bodies for biodiesel! Green!

I think this law is a step in the right direction. If the fed government won't take the necessary means to enforce the laws we've already got regarding illegal immigration then the states stepping up to do so might just work.

Thumbs up to the governor who signed the bill, and to the judge who threw out the lawsuit.

Why does someone always assume that a lib doesn't believe in having guns.

I do think punishment of the employer is the best thing to happen. If they follow federal law right now they have nothing to worry about anyway.
