Hersh reported what he saw going on... Dick Cheney and his allies pushing hard for a military response against Iran. At that point the odds weighed heavily toward big Dick getting what he wanted.

Giving credit where credit is due, Condi Rice and her faction pushed back hard, advocating more direct diplomacy and negotiations. As many of Cheney's neocon allies left the administration, Rice's camp began to get stronger.

Yet every few months he comes out of the pond scum and spews the same shit about how Cheney and Bush are ready to attack Iran. How long to they need to plan and attack? I would think if special forces have been in Iran this long, some military action would have been taken. What are they waiting for?
