Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Nearly three years after Paul Wolfowitz resigned as deputy Defense secretary and six months after his stormy departure as president of the World Bank--amid allegations that he improperly awarded a raise to his girlfriend--he's in line to return to public service. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has offered Wolfowitz, a prime architect of the Iraq War, a position as chairman of the International Security Advisory Board.

Did he bring his Bag?

Did he bring his Bag?

He's needed to move things along with Iraq.

With all the available idiots in the GOP, why does Bush still go back to his own circle of failures?

I guess Cheney must have a soft spot for Wolfie. Or maybe Wolfie has promised Bush a self-funding Palestinian state before Christmas.

I wouldn't doubt Wolfowitz knows where some of the Bodies are buried if You catch My drift.

Larry Mohr

Bush doesn't have to worry about public opinion any more.

But the GOP does.

On second thought, they're so toasted they probably don't care either.

It must be a bitch when you're forced to dumpster dive to fill a position.

He may be called upon to fuck up the invasion if Iran. Fucking up occupations is what he excels at.

Fucking up occupations is what he excels at.

That and overpaid employees. But only when she's on top.

Oh yeah, this is going to go well.

*eyes rolling audibly* (yes, you hear it, it's that bad)

Worst part is that he's replacing FredisDead. At least Fred had the decency to nap through the meetings.

Here we have an "experienced executive" (translation: well connected crony) who has not only failed repeatedly, but sacrificed hundreds of thousands of human beings to the alter of the Military Industrial Complex, International Monetary Fund, et al. What better proof that we live in an Oligarchy, not the Democracy concieved by our Founding Fathers, does one need.

The world is run by a bunch of organized criminal Oligarchs hiding behind an army of pseudo-intellects paid for by Oligarchs to work in Conservative Think Tanks.

The labels Conservative, Liberal, Socialist, Communist, Democracy et al are used by leaders in a variety of ways to keep their servants and slaves quiet and productive. Its all based on appealing to your animal emotions under the cover of religion. Meanwhile they rob everyone blind.

Ah the advantages to being a loyal Bushie.

You can fuck up and/or break the law and/or do a miserable, piss poor job and/or be universally loathed and still you get rewarded, re-hired, pardoned, and a medal of freedom.

This is how the mob works.

It's not supposed to be how America works.

Did Wolfie bring his girlfriend along for the ride this time too or are they gonna let pick a new one out of the steno pool?

Does Woolsey get first pick or wot?

BushCo are Shameless as they are Corrupt.

Anybody who doesn't see the blatent wrongness of this move is in a state of denial similar to a coma.

Be Well.

PS: Uh-huh, tis eye, dethspud, the DR's own tater o' doom, entering blogworld, as ya do,
stage left.

I guess that means Wolfie wont be facing purjury charges any time soon for
"The Iraq invasion will cost the American taxpayer 60 billion at most"

Wolfie is now failing sideways. What does he have on them? It must be something, for Mr. 'The Iraq War will pay for itself and only cost a few billion' to still get employment we know something isn't adding up!

How can you be more than 1 thousand percent wrong and people still want to listen to you?

In fairness, Condi oversaw the biggest national security failure in history and got promoted. Other than The Pet Goat, the only other book Bush must have started to read was the Peter Principle.

Does this job come with Senate confirmation??? One can hope so, who wouldn't want to see this low life snake in front of a Senate Committee. This Administration truly is giving the "MIDDLE FINGER" to the American people. George Bush, Dick Cheney, Condi Rice and the rest of these DOGS, truly has not SHAME!!!!!!

I suspect that we will never see another Cheney/Bush appointee sitting in a Senate confirmation hearing. I'll bet dollars to donuts, that any current or future unfilled position will either be filled with a recess appointment or will remain 'officially' empty with some underling given the task of 'baby sitting' the office desk until the current administration leaves office.

The last thing that Cheney/Bush wants now is to allow a Democratic Senate to exercise its Constitutionally mandated role of 'Advice & Consent'. For the next 13 1/2 months, we are going to see a 'government by executive order'. Or for all intents and purposes, an elected dictatorship. The only good news is that, baring some 'national emergency' that could be used as an excuse to declare martial law, there is light at the end of this tunnel as our national nightmare will end on 20 January, 2009.

Where's YOUKNEWWHO to quote from "The Clinton Chronicles"?

Where's YOUKNEWWHO to quote from "The Clinton Chronicles"?

A blind three legged dog limped by his mom's single wide. He thinks he may have a date.

Wolfy......Another one of Bush's fuckhead appointments.

Here's another kicker of an appointment;

" LEAD: ''I want you to know I have always recused myself from anything to do with communications,'' insisted Boyden Gray, President Bush's longtime family friend, legal counsel and adviser on ethics.

''I want you to know I have always recused myself from anything to do with communications,'' insisted Boyden Gray, President Bush's longtime family friend, legal counsel and adviser on ethics.

He volunteered that statement because he has been chairman of the board of Summit Communications, a $500 million corporation, while serving supposedly full time as Vice President Bush's counsel. By serving two masters, he violated (unwittingly, he asserts) White House ethics policy dating back at least 20 years. "
