Rogers Cadenhead: Right-wingers have gone ballistic since Wednesday's Republican YouTube debate because four of the questioners appear to be Democrats, including the retired "do ask, do tell" soldier who hogged not one but two microphones, and it's apparently GOP policy to avoid speaking to outsiders until the general election. But when Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan went hunting for Democrats today in that debate's target-rich environment, she still came up empty-handed.

Nice.....

Isn't it strange to experience a drive-by from the gang who couldn't shoot straight?

Yeah, looks like Noonan lied.

This following guy does not fit the Democrat profile
(Southern and Bible-thumpin')--

Joseph Dearing, who asked whether candidates believe every single word in his Bible, describes himself on YouTube as a "saved Bible-believing Christian" and has posted 24 videos over the past six months on the Book.

He's a 24-year-old from Grand Prairie, Texas, who has a GodTube profile that states, "I've grown a lot spiritually, thanks to the influence of the infallible word of God, which today is found in the Authorized (King James) Bible."
He told the Dallas Morning News that he was disappointed in the answers he got and is a Ron Paul supporter.

wow Ms. Noonan, do your homework girl.

Nice work, Peggy. Par for the course for WSJ political reporters.

Sadly you can drop the "political reporters" caveat soon.

That is hilarious, as is the response not to the questions but to the questioners. Why is it that some questions they can't answer? To wrapped up in rhetoric? I guess that's why Ron Paul doesn't have as much difficulty in answering the 'tough' questions.

The whole debate was stupid. There really are some people too dumb to be allowed to pose a question to candidates for the Presidency of the United States. Between the guitar-playing loser who wrote his own song about the candidates to the Bible-thumping guy who thought he would hurt some of the candidates in the Southern states to the retired Brigadier General that nobody at CNN thought to run a background check on, the entire thing was a farce. No serious network should have been a party to it, and no serious candidate should ever again put himself in such a position.

Between the guitar-playing loser who wrote his own song about the candidates

I really did want his video to set the screen on fire. And then a meteor to land on him. That was the moment I knew the whole debate was trash.

Of course, this isn't even the 100th time Peggy has obfuscated, spun...hell, lied her ass off. I put her and Carville and Matalin all on the same boat to hell.

Peggy Noonan is a hack, I can't even read her column with a straight face.

"Reports flew on the Internet that at least nine of the 34 questions posed via YouTube videos -- on topics ranging from corn subsidies to Social Security reform -- came from voters who have ties to Democrats or a vested interest in asking the Republicans to go on record."

"On the personal Web page of David McMillan of Los Angeles, who asked the candidates why many black voters choose Democrats over Republicans, are many political videos, including one with a Politico.com video blogger asking which presidential candidate was most "gangsta." In the video, he called Sen. John McCain of Arizona "Insane McCain." There are also photos of him attending a fundraiser for Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois and laudatory videos of former Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina, both Democrats."

"Questioner LeeAnn Anderson asked the candidates about lead paint in toys while holding her children. It was widely noted yesterday that Mrs. Anderson is an assistant to Leo Gerard, president of the United Steelworkers of America. The union has endorsed former Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina. Another questioner who asked about abortion reacted on her YouTube page while wearing an Edwards T-shirt."

"Ted Faturos of Manhattan Beach, Calif., asked the candidates about their support for farm subsidies, taking a bite from an ear of corn to punctuate his point. Bloggers pretty quickly determined he once worked for Rep. Jane Harman, California Democrat"

"avid Cercone asked why "Log Cabin Republicans [should] support" the candidates, leaving the impression that he is a member of the group. But bloggers uncovered an online profile in which he endorses Mr. Obama and praises him as "a leader who inspires me with his sincerity."

"Adam Florzak, who asked about Social Security, has an entire Web site devoted to the subject (www.pactamerica.com) and a 2005 article describes him as "hell-bent on reforming Social Security and the pension system" and working with someone from Democratic Whip Sen. Richard J. Durbin's staff.

At his site, Mr. Florzak describes his efforts to get a personal meeting to put his Social Security plan into the hands of Mr. Obama and has posted a video of himself asking the Illinois Democrat about the issue during a town-hall meeting."

Peggy Noonan and a donkey?

Was the donkey blind?

Peggy Noonan went hunting for Democrats today in that debate's target-rich environment, she still came up empty-handed.

I guess you would expect them to tell the truth that they were plants?

Um, Snipe? You awake? I don't what more this guy:

Joseph Dearing, who asked whether candidates believe every single word in his Bible, describes himself on YouTube as a "saved Bible-believing Christian" and has posted 24 videos over the past six months on the Book.

could do to convince you he's not a Dem plant.

Man, let Rupert Murdoch buy ya out and yer credibilty starts gonig the way of the dodo quicker than you can say "Faux Noiz".

Guess the only real important question here is did the Pegster lie deliberately or was she just lazy or sloppy?

One screw up could be a simple mistake. Two in a row? Maybe her research assistant was out to lunch Three? Spud's not that big a believer in coincidence. Maybe Peggy "Thousand Points of Dumb" Noonan was just "phonin' it in" or maybe just maybe she now ascribes to Cheney's belief that "we make our own reality".

Spud would call Peggy a plant in that she's a dyed in the wool Shrub supporter but Deth is "kinder, gentler" Spud these days, doncha know?

Hey! Who just laffed when Spud sed that?

Why eye oughta!...

Be Well.

HIllary will use the hostage moment in her next debate or ad or both--her news conference is as phoney as she is--number one..

Ask a politician to go on record with what they believe?? Oh you evil subversive, government hating traitor! How dare you? You must be a Democrat.

Aparently conservative voters are content with half-assed soundbites off the record.

For those of you (most of you, apparently) who did not read Noonan's column ......

" .... It's just bad that it doesn't quite happen at Democratic debates. Somehow, there, an obscure restraint sets in on the part of news producers."

A string of 'gotcha' planted questions, orchestrated by CNN. Where's Danni now, to croak about the Conservative media?

Yeah, Norm, how about your bitch going 'on the record' about anything?
