No, I'm not saying that. I'm saying that, as Rasmussen has also reported, fewer and fewer people are calling themselves Republican these days. People are switching parties. Take the desire to return to the gold standard. Going to a gold standard is foolish to say the least since you cannot use your currency to change drive your economy or value against your country's economic output. Two main reasons the gold standard was dropped in the first place. But let's talk further even if you desire a very conservative currency basis now is the worse time to do it since the US dollar is so low valued and the debt is so great at the moment. We would basically peg the dollar at shit at be unable to move it to increae it's value as (hopefully) US productivity picks up along with GDP and taxes to pay off the debt.
