Defense!

Not.

I love a good 3-hour gladiator movie.

Go, Navy! Amazing how Navy's team has improved over the past 4 years!

Roll up the score Navy,
Anchors Aweigh,

Lets go Navy!

Town,
Huh? This team has a good offense, but their defense has some serious holes (Ball State, Delaware...). I was asked after the Delaware game how a team could score 52 points and still lose. My answer was that they let the other team score 59. Luckily, they have made some changes to their defensive line-up. Hopefully that will carry them through N. Illinois (2 and 8 and recently ranked as one of the bottom 10 teams in the NCAA Div 1) and Army (3 and 7, but its a rivalry game and that brings some amazing performances to the field). Regardless, Kaipo and Bryant have some big shoes to fill if they want to go out with the likes of Staubach and McCallum.

Got tickets? I know where I'll be on December 1st.

The first question that comes to mind is if 62 points is the most scored by a losing team? Normally, when you score 62 points in a game, you expect to win.

Unbiased -- Good for Navy, but not so good for Army. Since 2003, West Point recruiting has had a harder time than Annapolis recruiting. Not only is Crabtown a nicer place to spend 4 years than the gray citadel on the Hudson, but the careers just seem much more interesting. Still, the cadets who go to WP are a wonderful and intense group all around. Yes, the rivalry is well worth watching. (Sorry, no tickets this year. I think you have to check either WP's or Navy's websites.)

Town,
Sorry, that was a rhetorical question. We're season ticket holders and do our best to go to A/N every year we can. Agreed about recruiting. Its bad all around for service academies, but particularly so for West Point. You can always find something going on in either Annapolis or Colorado Springs. In Newburg, NY (nearest town to WP), they used to roll up the streets at about 6pm. Don't know if that has changed since I was last there, but I doubt it. Add the prospect of back to back Iraq or Afghanistan deployments, and a large portion of the populace is going to just say no. I certainly hope for a Navy win, but either way, the game is usually a good one.

R4E,
Works the same way as when you score 52 points...See my earlier post.

It's one point shy of a record for a losing team.

North Texas is my alma mater, and I'm a huge fan of Mean Green football. We have a good offense, but our efense is non-existent.

Rogers -
I couldn't find any "d" in your last line.

Hey RAY you fucking cocksucker.
