When these self-identified "conservatives" leave "liberal" states and migrate to a pseudo-libertarian backwaters, it's hard to believe questions about the lack of suitable (or even adequate) infrastructure - often fueled by local unwillingness to pay for anything unless it's with "federal dollars" - doesn't come up. This has always been a get-rich-quick country and the consequences of this should be - but clearly aren't - obvious to pretty much everyone.

Two excerpts;

The humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza and the worsening situation in the West Bank are inflaming regional chaos, weakening our alliances with Western democracies, and making it harder for countries like Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia to cooperate with us.
